This was one of my favourite episodes. It was full of interesting characters, each with a relatable point of view, in a complex situation where there was no clear right or wrong. And it demonstrated why Harvey was the best corporate lawyer. His client's dreams came first, above his own office politics.

Jessica was never concerned about what was best for the client they represent. She was only worried about herself. As for the old lawyer, it was the client claiming bankruptcy that would keep him employed. The old lawyer was NEVER concerned about what was best for his client.

@@NerwiloNot really…she got disbarred in Chicago as well. Also Zane also had to take the fall for Mike and Harvey.
@Nerwilo2 ай бұрын
@@candicew.1096 Well actually, yes. The only reason she got disbarred in Chicago as well is because whilst there, she took on a pro bono case against a powerful and super shady real estate developer who had the mayor in his pocket and then ended up using Jessica’s disbarment from the New York bar, as grounds to get her licence revoked in Illinois as well. Not to mention that the whole reason that Jessica got disbarred from the New York bar in the first place was because she took the fall for Mike's fraud during his Bar Association hearing. So what part of all of that suggests that Jessica only ever put herself first, when she lost her licence in New York to protect the rest of the firm from admitting they knew about Mike not being a real lawyer during his time at Pearson Specter and then loosing her licence in Chicago for taking on a pro bono case that was against a rich and powerful rest estate developer?

Harvey 100% wrong for this
@bapelunchbox23669 ай бұрын
Not really. Harvey did his job. He kept the client happy by allowing them to stay in business. Paul Porter was also not in the wrong. He advised bankruptcy because he believed it was the only option to save his client. But unfortunately for him, he didnt have a Mike for a partner. Mike found something to help the client that nobody else would’ve found. Not knowing anything about it, of course he’d be mad about Harvey going against his interest for his client. Harvey’s only wrong for not pleasing Paul, and bringing him to Jessica’s side, which made Jessica mad. Jessica was so focused on keeping power that she advised Harvey to withhold information from the client, which is legal malpractice and a disbarrable offense. Jessica is completely in the wrong, she chose her desire for power over helping a client.
