6:55 I dont know if its been answered on your patreon but because Isshin's last name was Shiba, he is part of the Shiba clan which means Ichigo is technically a Shiba and cousins with Ganju and Kukakku because they called Isshin their uncle. That's also why Kaien looks a lot like Ichigo its because they are related in a sense.

[Tidbits & Clarifications][Lotta reading for those interested] - Comedic scenes revolving around Orihime's attire were removed. It expresses that Urahara made the outfits and Orihime wore it to impress Ichigo, but naturally Ichigo wasn't properly aware. - Bambi wasn't dead when we last saw her, she was defeated by Komamura. This means that Giselle Killed Bambi. - The scene with Yumichika covering his nose was purposely re-recorded for Western audiences. In the Manga and in the Japanese episode Yumichika is actually saying to Giselle: " You're a man, aren't you. You may think you have concealed it but frankly, you stink of semen" (This was likely changed for Western audiences because of social stances on the matter) - Many forget that the Shiba family was or rather are by blood one of the 5 Major Noble Families. The fact that they have a canon capable of reaching the Soul Palace says a lot and brings up some interesting questions. (Plus Imagine how strong Kukaku fire must be if she has enough energy to set off that canon) - Mayuri finding dead Arrancar corpses in Szayelapporos lab makes sense when you know additional information we learned in light novels. In his Human life Szayel and his brother Ylfordt worked for a great nation and Szayel was a Human Alchemist, he basically did questionable Human experimentation - Many people miss it but Giselle and her awful treatment towards Bambi is supposed to mimic how Mayuri was first introduced. He used Nemu as a tool and was wickedly violent and sadistic. By using Giselle/Bambietta as a parallel it shows us in part how Mayuri has grown since then. (Though Mayuri still isn't that good of a person but certainly better) - Giselle ability is to "Zombify" which is tricky because when we think Zombies we think already dead things. Here it's not the exact same, her Zombification practically allows her to control people and they become her puppets. She can zombify the Dead and the Living. - Though it was only episodes ago many seem to have forgotten that a mysterious figure appeared near Toshiro after he fell unconscious. We see now that it was Giselle and most reactors completely forgot because so much happens in a short span of episodes. What we don't know by the episode is whether she Zombified a living Toshiro or if she Killed him then Zombified him. [Reposted]

Isshin's last name was originally Shiba before he married with Masaki Kurosaki then he uses his wife's family name maybe to disguise him. Shiba family was originally one of the Noble clan in Soul Society along with Kuchiki, Shihouin. The head of the clan before was Kaien Shiba, he was the Vice captain in Squad 13 whose Rukia killed and then he became Espada 9. Now Kukaku is the leader of the clan replacing her late brother, Kaien. Isshin came from a branch family of Shiba clan. But he is the uncle of Kaien, Kukaku, and Ganju. And that makes the three of them Ichigo's cousins. That explain the similarity of the looks/face between Kaien and Ichigo because they're related.
