I caught a pike last outing with a chunk out of it in virtually the exact place and size.something gets them.

Yeah some weird ones mate. Can usually tell another pike bite but some weird ones every now and again

An extraordinary number of Pike caught between you in a day! Great sport. My 2 outings of ‘24 have amounted to zilch! Fished what slacks I have and nothing. Fished hard on the bottom and a foot off. It can only get better😅. Out of interest, do you find the Tranx nicer/better than the Komodo? The Tranx looks nice to use with the power handle 👍

Paul that spot has only been fishable once since that video was made and that was this weekend. Rest of time it’s been low and turns in to a whirlpool weirdly. All to do with far side hydro screw and the mesh screen blocking up and sending water back round the weir rather than down stream. Luckily I got out Friday when river was up again and had ten pike before the flood water goes and it’s a whirlpool again. 🤣 I like the Tranx but did love the Komodo. I seem to think the Tranx was smoother out of the box though mine now has a bit of play in handle after 3 years abuse. Komodo was faultless for longer I might dig one out and see how it goes

Shaun I will ask Neil. Seem to think it was a live bait bag he modified and maybe used so drain pipe cut up to drop lures in.
