Put an acorn or whatever behind a front and back wheel (jam it between street and tire) so the acorn won't move and you will be able to see if the car moved based on the acorn. Or put lines on the tires with chalk (on top of the tire so it's not obvious) all lines should be on top. If the car moves the lines will move. Like so Matt will see

I don’t have reddit so this will be here: Based on what I saw the being within the car is either robot or not there, it looks grey, almost like the seat, but has defining features, it also isn’t uncommon for people to have multiple car keys so loved ones can have one for safety, and the key you found doesn’t have the right head to be the original, if all the keys are connected that means a specific company or person is responsible for it all, and based on the old key box we could believe that it was a company, except that it was not input into the wall as if it was done by corporate, meaning it was an old employee of the old tenants, or someone who does construction for your company, but based on how all keys are found I can derive that if it was they would have hid it better, and it isn’t like new keys are appearing in places you’ve already found keys, this means they must have been there a while, the filing cabinet is the only thing I can’t solve, I would recommend looking into that, but I would also say proceed with caution, this seems like it may be part of a larger crime, searching some files, some claiming to be owned by the FBI there was a key related crime in 2010, main year for the mountaineer, this crime was never solved and the FBI have considered it a lost cause, I think you may need to find out a bit more about the safe and they key connected to it, but proceed with caution, this may be part of a crime that has stumped a lot of detectives, using keys to create different trails, just, be careful, and we also have a reason for the car to circle assuming that it did have a human driver, keep surveillance, make sure you haven’t found to much, try to stop you from solving it, it’s spooky, but use this evidence as you go on, assuming you read it because I don’t have reddit, please be careful

Matt, In my opinion, it seems pretty obvious that this was/is some sort of "security vehicle" if you will. I'd be willing to bet that the same real estate company owns both your property and the property that the car was parked in for so long. I dont think it ever leaves the property and is just used by some part-time security officer that was hired by the owners of the properties to patrol every so often. It would explain why it was driving slowly around your building back and fourth, it would explain how the battery had enough juice in it to crank when you guys tried the key, it would explain why it was dirty AF because it never leaves the property to get a wash, it would explain why you guys found a spare key in your building to begin with, and would explain why it doesnt have registered tags - because it stays on private property and you can drive an unregistered vehicle on private property at any given time without consequence. I'm sure i'm not the only one who has taken this train of thought, but if i am.... then there ya go! :)

Security wise I would recommend investing in a local system using a storage server you can set it up to automatically delete footage from several hard drives or you can have someone manually check and review the footage you would of course also be able to connect to watch the camera live
