The island is protected from human expedition by the government of India. It was already advised to NOT to visit that place, but in spite of that, a missionary guy from the US went there and his fate got him killed.

I know! We weren't sure how the whole Holi thing would go down - we had heard mixed things about going into the streets and it's best to go to a private party - but we found no locals at the private event - it was more like a party with tourists 🤣🤣 - we wanted to experience the true Holi - so I am glad we headed out to the streets - even if it was just for half an hour!

@@flyingthenest It was amazing to see you two celebrating Holi with the locals, but it was highly sensitive. After watching the entire video, I thanked the God. Normally Indians (especially females) don't go outside on the day of Holi unless they know the place they are going to, is safe for them. This is my advise to every foreigner (especially females) that be very careful when in public (because few miscreants may try to take advantage of you). If you know a family where females are there, you can trust them. The thing which saddens me the most is few foreigners come to India with high expectations and without much research and then fall into the trap and eventually they start blaming India and Indians, while the truth is Good and Bad is everywhere (in all the countries). By the way I am sad that this was your last video. I hope you come back again. Thanks in advance.

Using a bit of coconut oil reduces the risk of damage.. Use goggles to protect your eyes.. Better still don't venture out if you don't like colors
