Man… that’s a tough one. I think it comes down to… do you want portals and single speed, or do you want straight axles and a 2 speed. Also, if you want a brushless rtr, the venture18 is the only option between the two. Be sure to also check out my venture review.

13:07 Just did the od and ud gears, part number: rer31798 just dont loose the tiny pins like I did. Took dremel to the original pins and made them work. Sick vid as always!! If redcat is watching, it would be nice to have upgrades added in the box to keep folks wrenching.

Holy cow! Where did you find that song almost seems like it was specifically made for this! 😂 An interior would be nice, I got one for my 1/10 V2 Scout. It'll be a while but I'm definitely going to be getting the green one, kinda wish that the shades of green could have been reversed on the 2 sizes. One I would definitely love to see is someone come out with a Bronco ll body RC the '70s and full size plus the new ones have been done, but they skipped the Bronco ll. Maybe it's just me because I got mine from my Grandfather's estate - my first vehicle.

Ken love the vids man. I live not to far from your cliff dive k 5 escapade. I’m looking to buy my first ever crawler. I’m stuck between a k 10 Fms and this ascent scout. I want scale but I want performance as well. If I can get the k 10 with high clearance links and a true 4 link I think I would go that route. I know actually. I’m a Chevy man forever. But the red cat does so good with upgraded links. Can you help my decision please. Can you show me a way to make the Fms k10 1/18 flex like this red cat? Then I’d love to have you show me the ropes. If redact did a two speed trans and a hardbody withe the suspension upgrades it already has I’d be a fanboy.

The FMS k10 is not the best performer. It’s a big hard body so it rolls a lot. The Redcat will perform MUCH better. There is also the SCX24 c10 (k10). I think they are all great choices but just know that a hard body will be outperformed by a lexan body.

Music is my thing but I'm always open to suggestions! Sorry you didn’t like it. I give plenty of commentary all throughout the video. Nice thing about the music is, you can mute it and put in your own jams. Many love the music and find it entertaining. Maybe next time it will be more to your liking.

They are semi tinted. You can still see in them fairly well. Def need an interior.
