We were in Southern Africa last year and there is something therapeutic in watching a good SA shop chop your truck up. We had a good old Toyota LC and they just run but anytime you need something done, the Africans just seem to make it happen. No such thing as can’t do; they will transform your truck as required. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Thank you very much. Some stuff I wanted to explain and other like you said were self explanatory. I enjoy watching « rescue and restore » or similar content on KZbin. It made me think of it. During the big starting operation a worker was on another project, grinding nonstop. So I couldn’t use more of the workshop background sound. Also In the second part , I was concerned about the radio in the background and potentially getting copyright claims. Audio is a difficult part.

First, very nice work and very good idea to chop it like this - many advantages indeed... i think it must be really frustrating for Leigh not to be there 😅 . I know I would've been. Second, it's really scary to see all those cracks in the body. Of course, being a body on frame structure means they're not that critical, still, if they're in places like seats or seatbelt support it's scary. Good job at finding and patching them. I'm pretty sure driving those long distances over corrugated roads in Australia caused most of these...
