MARSOC guns are the Mk27 for sidearm which is a Gen4 MOS with Trijicon BUIS, Trijicon RMR HRS, SureFire X300U, and I have yet to see threaded barrels with MARSOC rifles. I’ve yet to see MARSOC with 11.5” URGIs as they seem to be sticking with Mk18s. I have been told from good sources they are swapping to 14.5” URGIs to replace the Block II uppers. MARSOC seems to do their own thing with gear which is awesome, smallest budget but possibly the most effective. Geissele SSF triggers which the SSA is the closest from weight specs.

It starts by teaching you about the military tools likely to be employed by a tyrannical force and also whatever arms might be more common in allied forces in case of repelling any invasion or if dealing with civil unrest from radical leftist anarchists. It just teaches you so much for the dollar. You learn more than you can realize. It also I think gives most people the best jumping of place for building or improving upon military builds. Like how to improve performance without trading so much on reliability. Also where true value lies in ar builds. Just very happy that I started with gwot clones rather than chasing gamer guns or an Anderson build.

I finally broke down and found someone selling 3D printed ones on Amazon for like $20. Ops-Core to my recollection doesn't even carry the part separately. In disgust, I left Ops-Core a message that basically stated if someone wasn't "mitary industrial complex" enough, then they won't bother to help. Their stuff is nice when it works I guess but it's frail and will break. I was in a night shoot when my amp arm broke leaving me to use ear plugs...
