I bought a 2019 Yamaha EX deluxe before finding your channel. After watching your review on the EXR, I had to have it. I bought a 2020 EXR and have loved it. I’m a playing around type rider that does power slides, 360’s and maneuvers. I will upgrade the deluxe but I won’t let my EXR go.

I have the Jet Blaster- Others may have said this already, but it's really more of a 2 person ski. The rating is 496 lbs, going from memory. It doesn't take much to go over that. I went 75 lbs over and it definitely didn't ride right.

I would try a cover but shrink wrap it to the ski... as long as the wrap is tight i dont think anything would move.

Is the blaster good for wake jumping!?!?!? No one has shot any vids of this aspect yet…. Already have a 21 GP svho I need a fun wake jumping ski… so trixx or waveblaster?

Hey Kevin, thank you for all of your insight and advise. I got a deposit down for a 2022 vx cruiser ho. I saw your ida/Yamaha quality control clip recently. Do you think Yamaha will tighten up on quality control for the next model year? Know it’s very unlike them to have these issues but with the demand, qc slipped a bit here and there. Wondering if you think they’ll have a better handle on it for this new model year. Thank you!

Hey Kevin, Here in Aus a 21 rxpx is 27k on trailer rego etc out the door,, 22s are going to be 30k and are available for preorder,,,, do you think the 3k price increase for just a screen is worth the outlay? I know it's a subjective question but personally what do you think? Another thing which is making me lean towards a 22 is the all black colour....... Great video as usual!!

Oh and also mite be able to get another 500 or so off a 21 model so probably gonna be a 3.5k difference

It all depends if you love the black color more than the extra cash. And whether the '22 RXP-X has the Tech Package; otherwise get the '21 and love it.

Really didn't answer my question was asking about the screen as I've had no experience with it? Here in Australia all 22 rxpx will have tech package..... did you actually read my question sorta feel like it was read half heartedly and just churned out a reply?

Personally, I'm a pretty lousy standup (ski) rider, although I would own a SX-R 800 tomorrow if I could find one for less than $5K (the prices are through the roof these days).

@watercraftjournal man you aren't lying about that. I have been looking for a round nose superjet for my son and man they want fortune for a beater! I have seen used 2020 superjets for more then new 2023 models. It's Insane. Good luck on a sxr for less then 6 now. It's crazy. Hell even the auto market is insane.
