I thought off road racing would be 80% speed, 15% endurance and 5% exhaustion, but boy was I wrong. It looked like this race was 30% speed, 10% endurance, 10% violently rocking back and forth, and 50% about peeing. We don't usually see people celebrating (or lamenting for that matter) the ability to urinate on youtube too often, but when we do see that, it must be because it i s a hell of an accomplishment. Anyway, it was cool seeing that your plans to have viewers send you footage so you could put it all together in a final video along with all your footage, came to fruition. This was spectacular. It deserves millions of views as it's chronicling something amazing and difficult that 99% of the rest of us will never do, it was so well filmed and well made, and it told a story. It even had an opening act, along with turmoil, challenge crisis and eventually a 3rd act with a climax and a moment of triumph.

Why would you say that? If you enter a RACE with the only intention is to finish you are not racing. A lot of people do not finish because they are actually racing and they push it pass the limits of the skill and equipment.

@@dhrracer if you are indeed a DH racer as your name suggests, you know not everyone who enters a race is a contender to win. With such a high attrition rate in this race, “any finish” may not be a “win” to everyone, but it’s still a pretty huge accomplishment in this race.

I had to go back and watch it a second time racing the high speed sections in the dessert was a beast. Watching the rock crawling sections had to be the back breaker especially in the Outer Limits. Watching Britney get out and pulling the winch line in the other section shows how the team spirit works.
