You may want to put something between the wood platform and the tent. People put what's called a footprint under their tents to protect the bottom from ripping. Also you may want to put something under the legs of the bed and table so it doesn't rip the tent bottom. A cheap way would be take the lids off of food containers that you would normally recycle, you could even decorate it such as wrapping yarn around it or gluing beads, pebbles or little shells around the edges. Other options could be coasters, or at the very least heavy duty cloth such as denim or felt. If there's mosquitoes, maybe you could get some mosquito torches or candles. You'll need a few.

Hey will, you might not ever read this, but I just graduated high school a week ago, and it’s been a wild ride, my graduation ceremony just finished yesterday too I’ve been watching you for years now, ever since freshman year, ever since I found you on Snapchat with your plant based nuggets, and I fell in love with your personality and videos after I thought “I GOTTA FIND SOME MORE!” and I don’t regret it, your videos have gotten me through some tough times with your positivity, and even inspired me to start adding more plant based options to my diet, and I still remember trying your cauliflower wings for the first time, never looked back, those were divine and they still are! I’m really happy as a fan to see you doing so well, and seeing you just enjoy a happy life in nature, and I even learned a bit about building stuff from you, now I finally have a reason to go to Home Depot! Seeing you get some puppies is also so wholesome, I’m a dog owner myself, and Labradors are the best things ever I guess point is, thanks for still making videos throughout the years, they’re always worth the wait and as I’m writing this, this is my first day without ever having to look back at school for now, and I’m taking a gap year to help find myself and discover the world, I wanna connect with nature more and I want to find myself, and you inspired me to start my own garden, I’m trying to grow some flowers and some vegetables to start, and I’m hoping it’ll all go well and I also wanna continue to watch your videos whenever I can, they’re always a way to brighten my day, and they’ve always inspired me to get out there some more! I’ve always loved your videos and I forgot to mention I actually bought a lot of plants, not fake, I water them, to decorate my house, inspired from you, especially helped during times I was quarantined I’m in IL! I’m trying to grow some tomatoes, peppers and melons to start, I separated them that way they have room to grow. And for my flowers, I’ve got a standard wildflower mix And yeah, I’m taking a gap year to find myself, discover hidden passions and pursuits and to travel, I’ve got a whole world I’ve always wanted to see, including the Mesa Verde, which I thank you for showing me, it looks so cool and I’ve always loved ancient history, so it was an instant sell for me I’m glad a gap year worked out for you too! I began having some health problems. Grounding and sleeping on the floor like the Japanese has eliminated inflammation. Was thinking if i should sleep outside in a safari tent to further heal. The deck is sitting on the ground on cement blocks with treated wood. Armadillos and skunks can’t get under it. We plan on adding a hot tub.

Love what you guys are doing but if you have harsh weather there at times you MIGHT wanna consider building a more permanent tiny home type structure while you have the tent to live in. The sun, storms, snow and ice, wind, etc etc… all take a big toll on tents. Even ones that are great quality when they are left up permanently just something to consider

We do have showers and bathrooms. We will include that in our next video. And they hold up great in the wind. The tent is attached to the deck so it's not going anywhere. It makes a great rental.

Doing the same except I just started out built a wooden box structure in my van. Sure there’s not much room but it’s better than the 800$ rent I was paying and stress living alone.
