It's our final couple of days here in Mactan, Cebu and we decide to take a trip to SM Cebu Seaside, the largest mall in Cebu. While there something isn't right and we must return to the hotel immediately. Once there things go from bad to worse...
However, sometimes good things can still happen in bad times!

Oh no, hope Jane has recovered! This happened to our family as well during vacation this past June. My husband fell sick and we had to extend another night at our hotel. We were at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disney so it was nice that we got to sit and watch the giraffes from our new room but it was really hard at the same time. Beautiful moments and hard moments but always grateful. God bless you all and safe travels!

I'm so sorry that Jane was suddenly taken ill and I hope she got a a day before you left to enjoy the facilities. At least yourself and Isabella got to enjoy things Adam, though not without the guilt of knowing Jane was recovering upstairs.

Wishing Jane gets better very quickly. There is nothing worse than seeing your loved one sick. A few years back before covid we visited Philippines only for me get sick, I was bed ridden for 5 out of the 6 week holiday. I hope you enjoy the rest of your break.

Not a good thing getting sick on a trip, hope she recovers soon. Where from both Cebu and Bohol and going there is always a challenge just getting used to the way of living there , much slower than here in Manila . The biggest trap is not to eat too much at once as it will overwhelming you and drink lots of fluids.

Some time its nice to eat out from home but need to take care always I eat food from sm calamba in 45 munits I was sick losses motion and food poisoning even they bathroom was so bad and all the resturant over there they think bathroom with water is great ...its was a bad experience in SM CALAMBA I TOLD THE LADY IN THE RESTAURANT THE FOOD IS NOT COOK BUT SHE TOLD ITS COOK

I surely hope Jane was feeling better by the time you guys had to board the Supercat and I also hope that your crossing isn't nearly as scary as on your way to Cebu. Be careful when you get home, because Ormoc is now under State of Calamity because of Dengue. Remember Joenard from my vlog (he calls me daddy Paul)? He's in hospital with dengue and I'm so worried about him. I'm staying in touch with him and his wife every day. They have a 7-year-old daughter and a baby on the way.

Thank you Paul. Our prayers are with your adopted family and we hear over 400 people are currently diagnosed in hospital with dengue. We have far more mosquitos here than ever we have seen before. Its a difficult time in Ormoc. We hope it can be tackled and back to normal soon.

Blessings to you & prayers will be going up for your protection from any further illness & for complete recovery from the travel illnesses. Take it easy. Those type of illnesses can be sneaky in my experience. You feel better but then…not quite! Get a month out from it…I don’t kno how much time has elapsed between the vacay & the posting. Hopefully it is all ready a month. Ma’am Jane has somehow gotta be extra cautious & avoid all mosquitos. Dengue severity is cumulative, y’all prolly know. Effects worsen the more one contracts it. //new subject: I read many comments complimenting Isabella’s beauty. I have written similar in past too! Today this memory popped in my mind while reading an Isa compliment, a filipino uncle of mine used to say, “a mango tree will never yield a coconut” . He has gorgeous offspring 😆 hey you two mango trees: Jane & Adam🌳

Sounds a bit like IBS, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Adam. My dearest suffers from this almost on a daily basis, usually early evening. Not nice! Sufferers need to be very careful about what they consume.

Jane has IBS but unfortunately it's far more severe. She gets frequent acid, headaches and losing weight. We need to get some urgent tests done. It's hopefully something we can diagnose and treat quickly. Have a great day my friend 😊

We have them. Doesn't make any difference if music is being played loudly in the background as we manually edit it out for copyright reasons. That's why sound is less than excellent on occasion. It's not the microphone. I'd rather prioritise the things that matter to me like Jane's health rather than upgrade better mics. In the grand scale she comes before anything else.
