You know what I found most satisfying about this video? 1. The long break wall alright 2. the rectangular cut stones are fucking cool as alright 3. A lot of engineering went into that wall alright 4. I wish we had more fucking awesome break walls like that here in Melbourne AU alright ...

Great video! Fantastic success with those monster Reds, good lord! With regards to the issue of getting stuck as you described, another great way to save your gear and your catch is to consider using a lighter duty mono between your weight and your main line. I usually use 10 lb. Mono because it’s fairly strong but in a pinch, if necessary, I can break the line so I don’t lose my rig and my catch. Better to lose your weight than your leader, hook and catch in the rocks/barnacles!

@@BeachBomberFishing We had 4 rods rigged various ways. We only saw 1 person catch a fish that day, and it was bait size. I think the wind was just too strong and the water too churned up, but the trip before I caught a HUGE fish. Locals called it a bull drum. First time saltwater fishing in about 20 years, so it was quite a thrill.

What day was this? IMVHO you cant beat a good bite on the jetties. Been fishing a lot from my boat over at Packerey. throwing cut ladies/ 1/2 blue crabs and 3Oz spoons. Trying my hardest to break the 50" man. But the jetties are on fire. Not seen a Speck tho! Good avice too. How many you see with the wrong gear at the end of the jetty. Lines and rods snapping. Falling over. Iys not for novices. And each place you fish on them is different. The only real way to get experience on them is to fish. Learn from your mistakes. Watch others and ask for advice. MOST of us are happy to help.
