In the last episode we travelled through the desert in Arizona and California. In this episode, we leave Joshua tree National Park and head straight West to San Diego... We are going to our very first meet-up. Thank you to everyone who attended the event and to everyone who support this channel by watching our videos. But the big news of this week is our crossing to Mexico and first few days in Tijuana. Everyone we met had an opinion on this town at the border but what better way to discover it than with someone who lives there? At the garage where we worked on our Land Rover Defender we actually get to meet with @projectomundocao and our friend Eva from the Alaska trip.

Another great video. Mathilde, you said you was in charge of the cameras, but I thought you were in charge of it all anyway. 😂 I watched Eva first so no spoilers for those who haven't watched hers, but It was an adventure. If there is someone who hasn't subscribed to her as well, you need to. That's what a team of friends looks like. The man who invented the Caesar salad was actually an Italian living in Tijuana Mexico, but shortly after that moved to Los Angeles, and opened up a restaurant where he patented the Caesar salad.

Had to laugh since we live in California. Love In-N-and Out. They came to Northern California about 25 year ago and now we have two in the town we live in. They were only in Southern California previously. Probably hit it up at least once a month. Enjoying following you on your adventures and personalities.

Yes It is a lot about having someone to guide you around. And talk you through how to smartly approach a place. This guy is a genius of a mechanic and has incredible cars to work on on his workshop. People trust he is the best. But with all this work I am not sure he will ever have time to make videos

In n Out! Your a true Californian now. As someone who was born and raised in Southern California but now lives on the East Coast, the first meal I always get when I’m back in CA is a double-double “animal-style”? Don’t know what this is? Trust me..this is how to order your burgers. And ask for fries “light well” (a slightly crispier version). : )

Does anyone know where the Toyota Land Rover issue comes from? They‘re all old warrior horses. If cared properly for them they‘re all really cool cars. Choose the one you love and can afford, then built it up and care for it. It will surely not let you down.

Question for Nick. You don’t think Eva Zu Beck’s vehicle is top heavy and way over her GVWR? Her wheels were slipping badly failing to get traction. I wonder if her vehicle has diff locks and she didn’t air down driving on dirt either. It was not a particularly bad obstacle where she tapped out and went back and I wonder if she has diff locks and they work and she has enough off road skills. Without you to help, she would be in some serious Barney. Rest of you guys seem to do ok with the similar LR Defenders and the Troopy.

Tecate was a good choice of boarder crossing point. Mexicali is another one further East. We have visited Baja in 2002. Crossed boarder in Mexicali. It was quick and easy. On the way back we got stuck in Tijuana for six hours.

You didn't even see all the landscapes of the USA. Ten states are tropical in the SE, The Appalachians are lush and green mountains, you missed all of New England, Florida and the Keys, New Orleans, Nashville, Texas and so much more. But I know you couldn't go everywhere.

Hi Robert, I guess it depends on the nationality and the areas you go to. Some border regions don’t apply the same rules as the rest of Mexico. We can only speak for our passport.

Bonjour à vous les amis, réflexion, jamais compris cet engouement pour ces bagnoles, dans l'huile et le gas c'est Toyota et elles le prouvent, jamais vu des land's sur les bases pétrolières autour du monde. En Europe j'avais des Range, à part le classic toutes les autres étaient des catas pas possibles, et puis en Algérie un jour j'ai découvert les Toy's GS et GR, non importées en France. Préparées à Alger pour le Desert, des bombes et super fiables.
