looks like that was well worth getting makes the replanting much easier for you , it must happen every year and therefor save you so much time than using your big planter , also looks a very nice tidy well kept machine and will plant most things with no problem and years ago that is how it was done and a very simple machine really , love it great vids as always

I spent many hours of my youth in front of a grain drill. Moving from bagged wheat to a seed tender, I thought the world couldn’t get any better or more slick. Now it just seems so antiquated like cultivating every inch of your crops. I remember we’d cultivate sugar beets the first round then the migrant workers would come in and hoe the fields the second round a month later. My hat’s off to those folks - hard work in the heat of summer.

This was a great video Thank you. After I started watching y'alls channel. I was talking to a family friend and was invited to go learn how they harvest cotton the end of July in south Texas. Can't wait now I have have 1000 questions to ask them about crops, equipment, how many bails and or bags and even pounds of it all. I only ever get asked about live stock or horses. I hope you and yours have a bless week.

I know how you are talking about his dad helping to build the first 1770 corn planter. I am friends with his brother.

With that planter you don't have to worry about massive amounts off electronics going bad $$$$$$$$. More farmers need to get back to the basics , an the pay cheques will be alot bigger.

Your row units are compressing to much and the beans are piling up the the flex tubes. We have pneumatic down pressure on ours, and when the pressure gets low it does the same thing. It piles up in the flex tubes!

We have a 1530 with a 3pt cart with S.I. Belt meters. Only thing I don't like is it's to small! Does a very good job otherwise!
