this was a great and fun lecture to listen to. there was plenty of rivals between the federalists and anti feds back then, like Patrick Henry who wanted nothing to do with a centralized govt

If instructors are not interacting with students what is the point of all of the effort put into this method of recording? I could get the same information from a piece of paper he wrote. I may be harsh in my remarks, but I am simply pointing out that the best teachers ask questions and probe their audience for understanding. Furthermore it is safe to say the 60 degree neck angle is not 'completely compelled'.

You have never gone to college have you? Shut up unless you've lived it. He is an excellent professor. The students are completely compelled and interested, I've been watching.

@PolitcalIslam Most libertarians I know view social issues and economic issues as the same thing, that you cannot have one without the other. The Tea Party focused more on economic issues, which Conservatives tend to agree with, and as such, eventually conservative social beliefs (ones contradictory to libertarian social beliefs) began to show up as well. So the tea party was libertarian economically, but did not focus on social issues, which led to its fall out with libertarians.

@PolitcalIslam I'll give you that. I'm sure a majority of the Tea Partiers are conservative, not libertarian. I believe the economic views were libertarian at principle, but not well thought out.

Charles Koch is on the board of the organization that makes these videos, I personally am a libertarian myself, and don't thing everyone in this organization is a bad person, but take it with a grain of salt, the Koch bros are in shady business

Every now and then a little blood must be shed to challenge the power of wealth -Thomas Jefferson (not a libertarian).
