Yeah man... I remember flicking through my friend's Skyrim collector's edition book way back in 2012 and seeing Jarl Balgruuf's crystal throne set in a room of trees and arches, and Dragonsreach being set in the evening sky above a sheet of clouds, looking big enough to be part of a Halo set lmao. It looked like something out of WoW. The only time concept art looked like the game was with Windhelm and Markarth. At least with TES6 we can look forward to some hopefully improved designs!

Back at the day I ignored the recommended Skyrim Build videos and was like "pff, who makes builds at skyrim?" Until I watched one. A few years later and I watched all of them, became a Lore lover that still plays Skyrim and Oblivion and has a blast with roleplaying. Thanks guys, you dropped a truck of gasoline into my love for TES :)

It really does. I still remember when my pre-ordered PS3 version of Skyrim arrived on release day. I still remember opening the map inside the case. How it felt to enter Riverwood for the first time. Hard to believe it's 10 years old now.

Theres an old game called Wizardry, Tale of The Forsaken Land that does a really cool thing with its magic system where spells are made from monster components, and certain combinations always result in the same spells, except for during particular phases of the moon, where its kinda randomized. Ive always liked that system and I think it would work well in TES, particularly in Elsweyr.

I almost always drift towards stealth dagger assassin. When I found the stealth dagger bonus perk and the dark brotherhood gauntlets buff, plus dodge rolls, I was so excited. Shadowscale was my first Skyrim build. Dark elf assassin was my first Oblivion build. Actually, I rented Oblivion from a Hollywood video when I was 10, and I made a hand to hand Khajiit because I couldn’t figure out how to equip weapons. Lol

I enjoy how you 'connect all the dots' to tie the various snippets of information you can gleam from the storylines and reading the books you can find during a playthrough into a comprehensive understanding of the TES Universe. I would love that as a mod for Skyblivion a "Songs of Pelinal: Redux with violens, heartbreaker and the realistic damage plugin for Smilodon as download requirements maybe give him the laser from Meridia's temple that also exists in Skyrim's code as a cut spell, label it as "killing light", ask Vigilant to borrow some assets, use some bardcore covers of the Doom OST.

And I agree that roleplay gives Any TES game that replayability. Me and my wife just a year ago have jumped I to makeing ESO content (skit based guides with fun voiceover that we supply) and our love for the game and the lore has only grown fonder.
