My paternal grandparents lived and raised my Dad on the Big Island. They spoke Pidgeon English even when they moved to the mainland in California. When my grandparents died my Dad's family including me flew to Hilo to release their ashes. My mother has hawaiian blood. So when we were there I was about to go visit her ancestors holy property and my father told me to not swear on holy land. If I did my tongue would swell (lol!) One of my Aunts researched and my individual pedigree chart. Three generations back the names of my relatives were all from the Hawaiian alphabet. Also found out that we were derived from the tyranical King that overtook King Kameha Meha! Just thought I would warn you about the swearing!

@@breemack7503 we hawaiians are asking that tourists please not to come to our islands because since covid started the government has put many restrictions on the people, holding us hostage in our own homes, we cant go out and enjoy our land , and we ask tourists to please stop coming here because we are seeing over a million tourists arrive every month being able to enjoy our home while us hawaiians are pushed aside and ignored, we ask that if you do come to Hawaii please be very respectful, dont take our lava rocks, do not stand on our kings and queens monuments because they are sacred, its very disrespectful, this is not italy where you can take pictures with the statue of Juiet. these are our ancestors who fought for our people, only for the colonizers to take it away from us, we were illegaly stolen by missionaries and colonizers. our home is a paradise but please, dont come here for sport, dont come here just because it's extravagent, or boujiee. no our islands are not a paradise, if you look around the homeless population is mainly our people. we cannot afford to live on our own land because a family house is now priced at least at a million, we cant afford to live here , thats why you see many hawaiians leaving our beloved home. please respect our culture, and please dont touch our monk seals or turtles, they do not come to shore to be bothered or have their pictures taken. DO NOT touch our monk seals they can be very vicious, and you could get a fine and spend 5 years in jail, so please be very respectful. if you want more history on hawaii and how we were taken search it up, and if you want to know more about why we are begging tourists to not come here, search it up, you'll start to see the corruption in the government and how they treat us. enjoy you trip here and have fun just please be very respectful, we beg you.
