We lost one of our dogs yesterday. He was 12 yrs old and one of the best we ever had. Much loved. Much missed. He is at rest till we meet again.

Happy new year to you all! You inspire me daily to be better. I have enjoyed my year with you and all the company you have provided me. I had a hard 12 months with taking care of and losing my dad, and I am now boxing the rest of the items for donation to empty the family home, which has been sold. Taking an hour to myself right now to relive the year with you, with a smile on my face and no worries allowed in.

Try using insulated rubber gloves for winter laundry. My great-grandma lived in MI, never owned an automatic washing machine, and only used her electric dryer to soften air dried towels and jeans. We all carried buckets of wet clothes to the lines for her and took turns spinning the crank on the wringer. It always amazed me that clothes actually dry on the line, even when they freeze first.

Bonjour la famille. it's the last day of year here in the north of France. cold, windy and wet. typical for our region however, i'd kill for some 95 degree heat. wearing scarves, mittens and parkas gets old real quick. that being said, your most recent vidéo did warm my heart and soul. the various work projects; the ups and downs on ladders, the homey visits; the orange skies; the fantastic vidéo photography and of course 'nine-nine' and now senor 'ocho !' what a year indeed. let's not forget the sage words of king solomon: " For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to keep, and a time to cast away. you fine folks have lived this dream and you've done it all in one year. so as this tour around our sun comes to fruition, may i thank you for your effort to build us up when we've been down and far from home. lastly, please convey a happy greeting and kiss to Rosa Diaz, for without her, your Earth Bags runneth over.

I Lost my Adorable Chi this year too. I had her since she was 3 years old for 10 years. I do have her mate Bambam. We were both devistated, so I go a Kitten that was born in a drain, a rescue kitten of 6 months old. In memory of my Dog Mitzy, as I used to call her my Princess, so I named the cat Princess. I am sure Mitzy would have wanted a homeless cat to have her spot. She is now living her best Cat life. Its hard when you loose you pet. They are so aways eager to see you. In fact more eager than humans. However they lived their best life, and that is the most important thing. God bless you all this coming New Year with Peace, Joy and Prosperity. May all your hard work come to fruit. Can hardly wait until you start building the house. You do such good work and I am sure it's going to be fabulous.

Diving into the whole complicated solar power stuff is something I’m dreading but have to. Both of my dreams - living full time on a sailing boat and someday (if I ever reach that kinda money) building an earthship in southern Europe for my parents to retire to - rely heavily on solar, and perhaps also wind energy…. It is remarkable how interesting you can make a video about projects I have already watched. Fantastic visuals, as always, well edited, as always and good structure and rythm. 👍👍👍 I was glad to see Ninenine 🐕the wonderdog make his appearance one last time. 💜 About Ocho eating chicken 🐓🐔 poop: I have known another dog who did this. Even loved baby poop. I wonder why. Maybe it is just an ideosyncratic quirk, but maybe it has to do with dog nutrition. Or maybe it has to do with ancient wolf🐺 behaviour? I know many predators 🦁🐺 do like to roll themselves in herbivour´s dung, 🦬🐎🐄🐑. It helps them to disguise their carnivour scent when hunting. I just bought my OG property in SoCo in November of this year and just hit my first month of living here full time. I recorded driving onto it for the purpose of being able to look back and see what I can accomplish in a years time. It is just me and I have already learned that 50 yo Jason does not have the same stamina as 20 yo Jason and to be realistic with my expectations moving forward. Thank you for your inspiring content it has motivated me in ways that I did not even know were needed. I deeply feel your pain with losing NineNine (is that a play on the German for NoNo?) I nearly lost my only companion 2 weeks into living here and I was absolutely gutted, thankfully he has made a full recovery tu it was touch and go for a few very stressful days 😢. Thank you again and look forward to seeing what you do next and sending you love peace and prosperity for 2023🎉

Happy new year , have you given painting the chicken yard a coat of outdoor paint might help.. my little homestead paint theirs. Could do some cute things on the walls like chickens, goats, pigs, and doggies, cats, cactus, yucca, desert plants with the mountain as a backdrop , sun set , maybe person taking a siesta with sumbrao . One with a little burro, one milking a goat, one holding a chicken, one playing a guitar, one BBQing on a grill ....make it like a family portrait with different scenes around the outside wall .

We have 5 acres in Washington state and I’ve been so empowered to watch your hard work and diligence. While in a completely different environment- managing raw land problems are similar. I know that feeling. I lost my Ruby in the middle of 2021. Within 1 week she was gone, hemolytic anemia. Blammmmm! No body knows the pain of losing a pet like another pet owner. My heart goes out to you. Like you, l got another dog, Princess Sadie. Entirely different personality! She does soften the blow of the loss. Much love to you! Peace.

Seeing your new tamp, while watching the chicken garden portion, reminded me to tell you that I SPECIFICALLY watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine (which I had never heard of before finding you guys) to find the characters that you've named pets after: Nine-Nine, Brooklyn, Doug Judy, Gina and Jake, Captain, Lil Terry, etc. and because I wanted to know what kind of character was Rosa Diaz that you would consider naming a tamp after her????!!
