Speed limit ni sababu most of areas/villages along the highways are populated, it’s just to avoid accidents. In less populated countries like Zambia , Botswana and Namibia the highway speed is 120kph and 60kph in populated villages.

Thank you for a remarkable vlog. However, I was looking forward for you stop over the beautiful town of Chato. This is the place where the late president Magufuli is buried. However, the town is beautiful with lush greenery around it, with a thriving fishermen community. When you arrived in Geita I was eagerly looking forward to have a view of your ferry crossing & possibly see the stage reached for the construction of the bridge.

There used to be a steamer in Lake Victoria that used to transport people from Kisumu - Mwanza - Bukoba and vice versa. Did you guys get any info about that. Those ages, and I mean mostly 80s up to 90s because this is the period I witnessed, you would observe a lot of Tanzanians from Mwanza and Bukoba travelling to Nairobi via Kisumu and using the train from Kisumu to Nairobi

Every speed limit is for a reason, look closely you will see why. Tanzania is such a big country and human settlements are located along highways, and of course we have many game reserves as well, and some challenging geography in some places like kona kali, milima, mabonde. You cannot just let people drive haphazardly, they will kill each other every day.

@mariej6962 Жыл бұрын
If you want to find a place where you can enjoy to see agriculture, the nothern one of Tanzania has nothing to show you unfortunately. Those are not plantations , just minute farms for family food, and they will need to buy more food in the market. Southern part of Tanzania especially the southern highland regions such as Iringa, Mbeya, etc will catch your eyes, horizons are the limit on how far you can see a plantation. We call them the big 5 where food is produced for the entire country population and exported in various parts of the world.
