Hello Nate and Justin thanks for sharing all of this information with us. I've been emailed that my Darth Sidious is in my loot pile at BBTS, still waiting for the Super Battle Droids to arrive. Seems like Hasbro is trying something different for the Halloween figures. You can't just keep doing the same thing it does get old after a while. I'm not getting these figures either, just not my thing. I do occasionally get a Christmas figure or two if I like them. I've never read any Expanded Universe books either but I am getting the Final Command four pack. I know of these characters and I'm interested in having them in my collection. The Balin and Shin figures shouldn't matter to anyone that fixed the height problem because the capes wouldn't be the correct length anyway. I don't have either of them so I'm getting both of the exclusives because I'm not going to fix the figures. Take care guys and I hope we can see you Sunday in the stream. Tom 👍

If they do reissue the Halloween clone, I do plan on getting that, but I agree that the live action versions of both Bane and Grand Inquisitor are terrible. And a weird coincidence is that both of their species have taller and/or more narrow heads than a human. I wish the makeup Crews had done a better job.

I mean, these are repaints and Sir Christopher Lee never appeared as Dracula with a beard so I hope next year they release a Count Dooku as Vampire Lord (or some generic term that keeps them on legal grounds) and Grand Moff Tarkin as a "generic" Victorian Mad Scientist. Thus honouring both their legacy and, most importantly, their friendship. Another possibility is that they are waiting until they make a very needed Tales of the Jedi master Dooku (hopefully with swappable bearded and beardless heads)

just an insight: on the third sequel from the oficial trilogy of Frankenstein's Karloff, Son of Frankenstein (1939), the Creature kind of inherit his creators surname since his creation, which revealed on The Bride of Frankenstein (1935) not only not beign just an "it", but a man, and by this assumption, a "son" and brother to Victors kid in a way and, by that, an Frankenstein by heir. So, yeah, it's not wrong to call the Frankenstein's Monster as The Frankenstein.

I have to agree with you Justin, my interest in new media figures like the Privateer and Night Trooper 2 pack has been plummeting. Stuff like the Acolyte Jedi and Mando Shriek-Hawks I can fudge in a general Jedi and Mando display respectively. But other than that, I’m not feeling a lot of the Disney+ figures.

Pretty sure Dracula is public domain and both Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee starred in Hammer Horror movies, so nothing to do with Universal. If anything is was just laziness onHasbro’s part

The reason why GI is Dracula and Dooks isn't is because in some short story collection GI was portrayed as a vapyric-type character, snatching up children from an orphanage to "recruit". I believe the artwork suggests more Nosferatu than Dracula, but the vampire connection is enough

I do mean that as actual advice too, and that’s the sad part. The graphic novels are famously bad at explaining even basic exposition, while the book has that in droves. It’s kind of a shame, really, because, like most other comics, they’re nice to look at.

While I absolutely still think that vampire should've been Dooku (I feel like they could've gotten around the legal stuff if they wanted to), I can't help but also feel like the additional black paint on GI's head kinda slims it down. It makes the head look more like the rest of the Pau'ans we've seen before. The brighter face markings also really help in that department. And CB looks like a Neimoidian now with the green face and golden eyes.... So even if you're not into this set for the Halloween aspect or even the characters chosen for it, there's a bit of customization potential here...
