I love the way you do your things, and your experiences, and by the way its very funny to follow your experiences und hear your ideas. I like the idea with the Plexyglas in the wall where you can see the mice , that would be very funny 😂 . And no matter what you do, please don't justify it, it's your way and your experience, bless you 🥰😘

For what it's worth, there are many of us like you. We watch your channel because it is to some extent a reflection of what we are like. We buy food specifically for the wild birds in our garden and have given them names, we had a mouse that came through the door and we left cheese for it at night .... we never thought of killing it.... We travel by car to Sweden once a year and we don't sleep in the car because we have three children 🥲, otherwise, of course we would! The thing in such long travels is to remain focused on the road. We approach things exactly the same way as you do, in a parallel reality adapted to our way of being. The important thing is to be happy doing things your way. Keep up the good work.🙌🙌

Aw thank you so much for the reminder that we’re not alone in our way of viewing the world 🥰 I think at times the constant “feedback” in our personal and online life can lead us to believe that we’re too strange for others. But seeing all the kindness in the comments lately encourages us to continue showing up as we are. It’s so lovely to find our people ♥️

I guess I’m a weirdo too then. I treat mice the same way you guys do. We once raised a tiny newborn mouse that one of our cats had brought inside. We named her squeeky, and she was the cutest, sweetest pet 🥰. The plexiglass idea is wonderful, wouldn’t freak me out at all. My only concern would be that eventually you would have way too many mice living in your home, and that could become a major problem.

We used the same traps for our mouse friends. Caught 7 over 2 days and set them free in hopefully safe nature. Think we got them all, but we will see!

I know a family who caught mice the same way you do and brought them far away to let them loose, but every time there was one again. So one day they painted a little dot on the back the mouse they caught and brought it verrrrrry far away from their house. The next morning that mouse with the painted dot was in their trap in the pantry again !!! really happened at my brother's in-laws-family.

20:53 oh... I've had an endoscopy once in my life, but it was tragic. the nurse who was preparing me forgot to tell me to breathe through my nose. I think it's a game changer. I tried to breathe through my mouth and I still had a vomiting reflex. After I left the treatment room (I was crying and screaming a lot), people in the queue for the procedure gave up. Next time I will ask for anesthesia.
@WaleandMe2 ай бұрын
Oh my!! I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Hopefully I won’t need to in the end 🤞

The anesthesia just makes you a bit out of it for a few minutes. It’s not a major general anesthesia. I had it for an ulcer back in 1996. It was so fast I was awake before I even realized a procedure had been done. Bon courage.

Leuke vlog.
@WaleandMe2 ай бұрын

I mean. I get the second hand thing. But driving a fossil car across europ to get stuff from the netherlands to then drive backj with the same fossil car (now using twice as much pulped dinosaurs) is kinda.... contrary? If you missed tha netherlands just say so. It is ok. But also. Doing house stuff is for the summers. Soon you will have rain and autumn storms. You should plan travels for the "down periods" during the winters. Then you will have KZbin content for those months as well :) Judging over ;)
@WaleandMe2 ай бұрын
We know it’s not a perfect solution and that driving of course contaminates, but for us it’s better that the embodied energy necessary to source/grow/design/manufacture and transport (often across the world) all the materials and machines we would have to buy new otherwise 🤷♀️ Also, it REALLY helps our budget. We do what we believe is best for our situation and according to our values 🙂

Hey! Just letting you know your videos have had a horrible high pitched sound in the background lately, not on other channels I watch so maybe test your mics. In this video you can really hear it around 8:07.... play it from 8:00 then listen to the difference by 8:10. Otherwise love your videos and journey ❤

Sorry about that! We’re having issues with our main microphone and trying to fix it in post-production is not working clearly. We’ll stop using it until we figure out what’s up. But thanks for letting us know 🙂♥️
