Plastic bandwagon fans and a baseball stadium, no thank you. The New York Red Bulls may be owned by an energy drink, but this has been the original MLS team since 1996 in the NY/NJ area. You lose a lot of respect if you once supported the Metrostars/Red Bulls and switched over to NYCFC. Imagine explaining that concept to a lifelong Arsenal or Tottenham supporter in North London. RB bought the club, invested, built an arena that some teams envy of, and built a youth club that have produced players that play in Europe (Miazga, And Tyler Adams to name a few). For such an investment, seems like a successful 10 year plus "project" ROI. City is a forced manufactured club by oil money. They shouldn't even exist.
