D Rose is one of the most beloved players ever. There is a HUGE difference in how the people who are emotionaly invested in him see his play. Took me some time to get used to that and not argue all the time. For me, i have only seen him after the injury and seen him as an ok player. A spot in the roster, mby a rotation guy on a good team because he seems like a good guy and he worked on his jumper
@shangojackson605 ай бұрын
Totally agree. I've been watching him play since college as he's from my best friends area. I think for those that saw those days and early Bulls days we saw the kid who had every odd stacked against him from the jump and he exceeded expectations without saying a word, in the loud NBA all its big personalities and big players this small silent pg was coming for everyone. Given the keys to MJs team and only his own body stood between him and living up to thay potential. I think that's why so many of us are still invested a decade after his last all star appearance

D Rose is one of the most pure hearted bball players I've ever seen, the kind you always want to root for and fight for. He has everything you want from a player, especially with the intangibles. And yes, D Rose was not to be trifled with before the injuries. Pretty sure a whole lot of guys have had sleepless nights over this superhero 🔥🔥🔥

D-Rose is still in the league because he adjusted, accepted his role on a team and has no big ego. Other stars that we can say is better than D-Rose from 5 years ago until now is not in the league because they want to be a starter or one of the main options in a team.

When MJ came back and they lost to the magic in the eastern conference semi finals, and than the year after winning the title on fathers day almost 3 years after his father was killed, i really teared up. I rarely was so happy for an Athlete, other instances were Aytron Senna ´s first championchip on the second last race of the season, being on pole but having a horrible start when he went from first to 16th place and than have in my opinion the best comeback ever (with so much pressure, because he had to win the race to win the championchip) and overtaking one opponent by one and then majestically overtaking alain prost to get back at first place and win the race, i was so happy for him i really had tears of joy, and on May 1 1994 it was obviously the exact opposite. Leo Messi brought me to tears of joy countless times, and also a few times the opposite, like getting to the World Cup finals in 2014 and than losing, was a very bitter pill to swallow (But thankfully at the age of 35 they reached another WC final, and this time they owned it. And also the same with Emelianenko Fedor, the most down to earth, laid back, charismatic, and obviously the GOAT of his sport and also the best all around combat sports athlete ive ever seen, whose career i was watching from beginning to end (over a period of two decades). Plus, even though i was too young when he was having his last few fights (still saw all of his fights multiple times later on though), i cried a lot on the day when the greatest, Muhammad Ali, passed away.

the argument of " why he in the game? " no one knows if you do not play 5 moins that will save the knee from tearing. It was bad already and was going to pop eventually. Can not blame coaches for that.

That was coach Thibs for ya…but it could be argued that it was only a matter of time with the way God made him. Everyone always says the game was already decided and the Rose dilemma is only because the coach didn't take him out. But if the game is already decided, then Rose doesn't have to jump around like a rabbit in the paint. He could have passed the ball. In football, if you have a decided match and the coach can't substitute everyone, then no top striker is going to start doing bycicle kicks. Especially not in the first round of the knockout phase

Nice video, but some of your facts are off. Drose was not the unanimous number 1 selection. Michael Beasley was the national player of the year and the bulls needed inside scoring. Also you said the bulls were the #2 seed vs the #7 seed pacers, but they were #1 vs #8. The bulls had the best record in the nba that year, even David stern said it in your video.
