If you are running Urborg, I can't recommend running Filth enough. Giving all your creatures Swampwalk as long as Filth is in the graveyard seems like gas in this kind of deck.

I have been running ToH since I opened it in a pack. Everyone loves it. LOL. All jokes aside, I use it to finish off the majority of the board and most folks are fine with that. When you cheat it in super early, that's when the salt counter goes up. I have also had it countered many times....which hurts me a way more. Lol

I like playing a Commander that people underestimate. I have a Linvala, Shield of Seagate deck, and people assume it’s a terrible Party deck. Yeah, a Party deck would be terrible. Too bad for them it’s Board-wipe tribal and Linvala just keeps my stuff alive haha

But I also run Sun Titan and Bishop of Rebirth, so I can sac her, nuke the field, attack with an indestructible board, and bring her back from the graveyard. I also have Teferi, Time-Raveler just in case. He stops all those pesky instant-speed tricks

Kind of funny you call him a reanimator when Duskmourn hints just came out & his creature type is "Rat Ninja Wizard" & a card in the set is quoted as having the text line of "Exile any number of sorcery, instant and Tamiyo planeswalker cards". This is mere speculation that those two hints are connected but it really makes sense for him to be trying to bring her back lore wise. I am sure Tezzeret's last words to him, must be haunting him emotionally. Since Tamiyo cards come in U, UG & WUG and Nashi is a base black creature....maybe, just maybe we will be graced with another 4-color legend for Witchmaw colors. I mean, 4 color legends are sadly lacking, but WURG has like 3 or 4 options plus the partners, where as each other combo has only 1 legend and the partners. It would be a nice surprise & white also dabbles in ressurection magic.

With all your graveyard recursion you should sideboard 'Introduction to Annihilation' for 1 Eyetwitch. This will let you add 'Necrotic Fumes' and others.

Hey Prof, I just wanted to suggest a card in the form of Skirge Familiar. It lets you discard any card from your hand and gives you 1 black mana in return. Since you have necropotence in the deck as well as X spells you can win incredibly easily if you simply manage to draw most of your deck to feed it. Always happy to see a mono black deck tech video.

Excellent video! I would swap out Burnished Hart for a Millikin. Burnished hart is just a bit too slow nowadays. Millikin is an easy to cast mana dork that also helps you mill so it feeds nicely into the strategy of the deck!

I know they are not terribly popular, but I'd love to see a deck tech on any colorless commander. If I had to pick one I'd say Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger since I already have him for modern. I know that I'm the oddball for liking colorless over any color combination. It just feels weird and fun. Like I don't have access to so many iconic mechanics, but in exchange I can do a bit of everything.

I will say there is a combo that seems really good for this deck Geth grimoire, you draw when others discard And larceny, opponents discard when a creature deals damage to it Both cards seem pretty good in this type of deck

The lack of Commander Ninjutsu in the most recent Kamigawa block is a literal crime. Red/Green counters and Blue/White Vehicles? WHAT. Ahhh Gwen. She's an old favorite of mine, too. Glad I got her before she spiked. I used to run her in Bolas Wheels, but having her be the commander could have nefarious possibility. Obviously, discard punishment is a must. Cao Cao and Tergrid, Dauthi Voidwalker, Bone Miser... Scarab God... so many eeeeevil ways to profit from your opponents' loss. May I also recommend such things as... Freed from the Real, Thousand Year Elixir, Minamo School at Waters Edge, Pemmins Aura, Intruder Alarm, Thirnbite Staff and of course Dramatic Reversal on a Stick!
