Pro tip when working with copics: if you don't want to have to erase pencil lines, I reccomended sketching with an erasable colored pencil! If you choose a color that compliments the colors you'll use in the drawing (I tend to use pink for people), it gives the art an overall glow of that color, and helps it feel more alive and organic from my experience. I used to erase sketch lines for years with copics but once I tried the colored pencil technique, I never went back. You can still do lineart on top of it too!

Not sure if anyone has told you guys this yet or if you guys already know since this is pre-recorded - but, with the kneaded eraser you guys can roll it into like a thick log and roll it with the palm of your hands instead of holding it between your fingers and it erases a larger area easier than the squish down thing Emily experienced. You can also squish a tiny point to poke out of the eraser to erase highlight spots if you're using graphite (if you ever wanna do plain graphite drawings/sketches). Kneaded erasers are also good for lightly erasing initial sketches (where you can still see the sketch but not at max opacity) so ink from your pens sink into the paper instead of maybe skipping over the graphite already on the paper. Also, copics and poster colors aren't light-fast so they're likely to fade over time. Both mediums were used by animation studios and such because they're quick to work with and most animation panels were usually thrown out/stored away(?) after getting scanned immediately so they're not exactly made to last the test of time. So, if anyone wants to hang them up just know to keep it out of direct light. Not sure if a UV blocking picture frame would help but maybe reddit folks have the answers to that lol But yeah - these drawings are so cute. I love Daidus' monke and Emily's use of color. I can really see Emily's confidence in using Copics in this!! Daidus' watercolor style really embodies peace, it's niceee man!

Yeah there's Quito, the capital of Ecuador where it's basically only 50s-70s year-round because of the location and altitude. Rather than hot and cold seasons, it has wet and dry seasons.

I actually loved Summer so much as a kid, I have a lot of memories being outside going to the nearest public park, visiting my friends, riding my bike, aming other things. Sadly my love for Sunmer has dropped significantly in recent years due to many issues that plague our world. But I still hold Summer in very high regard, although I have slowly shift to Spring in recent years. I just vibe more with Seasons that are bright and shiny with longer days and shorter nights, anything that screams joy!! That and Winter after Christmas is just seasonal depression and being force to put on so many layers jsut to not get frostbite.

I do love summer but Christmas is my favorite time of year, even over my birthday, so I like the Christmas talks. Snow days were fun. I love both pictures, and the onsen looks cozy. The strawberries are my favorite for how they're colored, and the yellow background makes them pop. And that lavendar purple dress! I love it. Reminds of one I wore as a child. Well done you two! "I want it because you have it" Ah, so Daidus is a child. Makes sense. I also love how Daidus feels the art and Emily plans the art. And I am both. Btw, these paintings were a cool surprise. I like not looking stuff up though (only did with the Pokimane scandal).

small suggestion: if you don’t want to erase your pencil sketch, might i suggest using mechanical pencils with colored lead? you can keep some of the sketch lines and your coloring won’t be muddied up, it might even add something to the final product (i.e. if you use red lead for a character, their skin tone may come out more rosy) I love your videos!! Keep up the great art
