Also, mushy tapioca might change the flavor a bit, or there could be ice melt and dilution issues, temperature could affect taste, etc. Maybe have a bubble tea delivered every 15 minutes... Hey! that could be a tourist service while in Singapore/Taipei: get a different brand of bubble tea delivered every hour or so, so you can sample them all during your visit...

I don't even care for bubble tea here(to echo twoset, we're old, can't process sugar) but tiger sugar remains rather consistent. The alley is great too. Xin fu tang near my house but I haven't tried.

I agree that Chatime's quality has dropped. I used to be a big fan of Chatime in my country (even got 2 membership cards, not sure why they keep changing their loyalty card/system). Then sometime before the pandemic, their quality started dropping == It was awful, I ended up ditching them for Black Whale (not Whale Tea, it's different brand)~
