This was all around a brilliant marketing plan. Boosts the day's profits, possibly gains new customers, and the only losses are whatever mistakes Brett and Eddy made plus 100 cups of tea. And it makes the business itself look amazing, gaining loyalty. More companies should take this kind of approach with content creators (not influencers, actual content creators).

The bubble tea market in Taiwan is really competitive. So they had to stand out by using a patented machine and kinda brew the tea on the spot. And it really makes a difference to the taste. It results in a longer wait time for the drink, but I guess the benefit outweighs the drawback here.

Given that their "menu" is both in English and Chinese, I'm guessing they're in regular contact with people from other countries, so speaking English is probably a must for those who work there, at least for the managers. this is probably gonna sound silly, but seeing someone as intelligent, talented and diligent as brett still struggling to meet the fast-paced demands of a food service environment was really eye opening for me. i worked at a busy family owned restaurant from when i was 16 up until about a year ago and developed severe anxiety from it. between rushing to take takeout orders at the front, plating, bagging, and pouring things in the back and consistently running back and forth, i was constantly stressed out. i thought i was just too dumb/slow to work in food service but i see now that it isn’t the case at all, it’s just a really difficult job in which many people who have never worked it before are unaware of the challenges. and not everybody can handle the stress of a daily fast-paced environment. i really appreciate brett & eddy for making this, not only because they took on the challenge themselves, but because of the message it will send to people who have never worked this kind of job before. it’s harder than you might think!

@@penultimania4295 i did not mean it as an insult or a negative thing. what i was trying to say is that even a notably smart and hard-working person can have a hard time getting accustomed to this kind of environment, and a lot of people don’t realize that. i’ve had people assume that i’m stupid while working in the food industry because the environment was not my strong suit, and the same can be said for a lot of people. i liked that twoset shed light on that by taking on the challenge themselves. for some it comes naturally, but for others it can be a bit more difficult to develop the skills required for this kind of job. i apologize if it came off the wrong way.

I only found this channel a month ago and I already have so much fondness for these guys. The combo of classical music, humour and bubble tea is just the best. And the bits of texts and random sound effects crack me up every time. The comments are always so lovely too. Thanks for all the entertainment, my fellow Brisbanites!

LOL The pronunciation of 87 in Mandarin sounds like how we say ‘idiot’ in Taiwanese 😂 (Both languages are used here in Taiwan.) So when we say ‘I’m giving you 87 out of 100’ it’s like a sarcastic version of ‘10 points to Gryffindor’… I wonder if Twoset know about this 😅

Joanne and Amber are so patient and sweet. They did such a great job guiding Twoset! ❤️ Also, I loved the twosetters who said "as sweet as Brett/Eddy" hahaha that was so cute!! They didn't waste their opportunity ❤️ I really love their videos related to Bubble Tea, it's really nice to see them enjoy what they love! Also, I remember that in a video they were joking about getting sponsored by a BT brand, and I'm not sure if this counts as sponsoring, but it's awesome they could do this with one of their S tier brands! Definitely a master marketing move from the brand.
