Your photos of the eclipse are beautiful. It really was an amazing experience. All I had to do was walk 6 steps out onto the patio to see it. The birds started flocking into the pine trees when it became dark thinking that it was night time and they weren't safe. So glad you got to enjoy it as well.

Lucky you to not have to travel far for this. Yes the birds were wild. So we're the crickets.

Totality was so great! It was 10 times better than I thought it would be. I had been planning our trip for 5 years. We were in Texas and got 4 minutes. We only had to go 2 hours away. I am impressed you got a spot at De-Gray Lake. We have stayed at that same section 2 times before. It is a great campground. Wonderful video.

We were shocked too! It really is worth it and so lucky you only had to drive 2 hours. Such a special memory 😀

Glad you guys had a good time. We did not travel to an area of totality. We went to Wallops Island and watched them shoot off 3 sounding rockets for the eclipse and we saw about 80% coverage.

Glad you got to see it at least some! It's a long trip but if you get to do it again in the future it's certainly worth the effort.

Great job on the water color. I recently bought myself some too. It was great when you could see the stars. The one in 2017 I noticed the crescents on the ground. I found a spot last Monday. I told a few to look for it.

So cool 😎 did you get to see totality this time too? Or just in 2017?

I love that your cats are so chill on their leashes! We were in Emory, Texas on our good friends’ property for 100% totality for the fastest four minutes ever. It was AMAZING! We were in Oregon for the last one at 97-98% and it’s night and day from totality. I agree with those wise words - sit & take it in. And then you heard a loon? WOW!

So glad you got to experience totality with friends! Fastest four minutes for sure! 😁 Yes we love that they feel so comfortable outdoors and like to stick close to home.

Thanks for sharing with us such a remarkable event. Probably one of the best documentation of the event I've seen on KZbin. Up here in NYC there was only darkening like dusk and then return to daylight.

Sorry you didn't get more of a "show" in NY. That was also totality, correct? It really was absolutely magical and we're glad you enjoyed watching ☺️
@loudmouthnewyorker28038 ай бұрын
@@EatSeeRV Negative, NYC got only partial and it only got as dark as dusk. Western NY State like Buffalo got total. Imagine seeing all that by Niagara Falls.

Photos are awesome! We experienced it in Texas and I agree with the feeling of seeing it in totality.

Thank you! It's definitely worth the extra drive to be in true totality. Totally different experience

Wow those shots you guys got were AMAZING! 😮 I “Chuck” would be right there with ya as far as getting emotional. Heck I won’t lie I got a little emotional just watching lol. I love star gazing and somehow we totally missed the eclipse here. Now really regret not getting to see it. Maybe next time hopefully. 😊

I'm sorry to hear you missed it. The next one is in Spain in 2026 (you know we'll be there). I hope you can see it next time. I cried editing it! So, I get it.
