A large group of my family rented several camping spots at Lake Erie in Ohio. It was the most majestic experience of my life. I just never could have imagined the difference between seeing a 100% solar eclipse versus even a 99%. Being with family just added so much more to it. We just had to hug each other. I was part of a gathering in Purmela, TX. It consisted of mostly Casita travel trailers and other fiberglass trailers. All 100 or so rigs were boodocking in a cow pasture. So much fun and what a spectacular eclipse it was.

We live in Ohio and my husband works 45 minutes away in Indiana were they had the full 4 minutes. At our house the eclipse was 2 minutes but my husbands work had an eclipse party so our daughters and their families joined us in Indiana. As my 12 year old Granddaughter said "It was the coolest thing ever!" Happy Birthday Hensley! I have been watching since you first started your RV journey and I have enjoyed visiting many of the places that you have shown on here.

I was fortunate to be able to witness the 2017 one without leaving my house in Missouri! I invited friends to come over but nobody could make it since it was a workday. Glad you all got to see the Eclipse. I reside in Texas, and we saw it in our front and back yard, got pictures and videos of it. It was awesome. Love your video. That is some restroom that you can see out of, but they can't see you. I see it has some kind of mini-split device up there, but does it have a light for nighttime use? I'm glad someone out there is as big a sap as I am! I was crying when the kids were writing cards for the children's hospital, crying with Marissa every time she got emotional (I think as a mom when our kids are young we get emotional thinking about the memories our kids will have!) - and crying with the people sharing this experience! I'm planning on getting my house on the market next year and getting on the road that fall, and I can't wait! Love you guys and your beautiful family! What a fun time! We were in Texas for the eclipse, too, boondocking in our daughter's driveway. We were about 35 miles north of Austin. We saw the 2017 eclipse in South Carolina, now this one. It's really an amazing experience.

WOW! We drove to northern NH from Massachusetts, 5 hrs to see totaliity with no clouds. I actually think you guys had just the right amount of clouds to make it look really cool! Talk about a Ring of Fire with clouds looking like smoke!! I'll be 74 for the next total eclipse and I hope to be able to make the trip to see it onle last time. What a great idea for a meetup too! Amazing it's been two weeks already. In NH, a celestial event almost always guarantees wall to wall clouds, but not this year. We scored wall to wall sunshine. We had 95+% totality, but it was still super cool.

Great gathering y'all put on! I was not expecting that much response and Involvement, but I should have known Better. Happy birthday Hensley! Enjoy your youth as long as you can, adult trials will come soon enough. The 2017 total eclipse was a first and only for me. Myself and a few friends, plus a very few others found a remote location in a forest clearing in the eastern Oregon mountains right on the path of totality. It was like nothing I have ever experienced. it's hard to convey what the light does as totality approaches.

Next Total Solar Eclipse in The United States will be March 30, 2033 across Northwest Alaska. Totality will be about 2.5 minutes ish. Then Aug 22, 2044 across Montana, North Dakota, & South Dakota. Then the largest path will be August 12, 2045 across Northern California to Florida. My Bucket list Eclipse. (I was in Oregon for 2017), will be July 22, 2028 from Northwest to South East Australia with a Totality of over 5 minutes. Great stuff and thanks for sharing. I was at a HipCamp location in Maynard Arkansas, clear blue skies, didn't book until Saturday, two days before to guess the cloud cover.🙂 Really enjoyed the video. Thanks.

Its very hard to create easy meals on the road without meat. Grilled food is delicious but no point in a grill really if theres not much we can use it for. I mentioned the documentary because its how we became vegetarians. People are generally curious as to our why. In our case doing animal sanctuary type work, for us it felt hypocritical to eat meat.
