About six years ago I took my son from West Virginia to San Diego for a trip before his senior year in high school. We were on a part of route 66. We ate at The Big Texan and we stopped at this soda pop shop outside of Oklahoma City (I had never seen so many different flavors of pop and it was organized by color). You all look like you are having a great trip. Thank you for the video.

Some of Australia's cattle stations are the size of Sth Carolina and it does take all day to drive 2 inches on the map.

Sometimes we do short drives. We try to keep it around 8 hours max. Sometimes we will do 10-11 if we are trying to get somewhere.

We're thinking selling our motorhome and going with truck and trailer platform. Mileage isn't to wonderful in our motorhome so wondering what mileage are you experiencing with your set up?
@WilandJen Жыл бұрын
It depends on the type of driving we are doing.. mountains is about 8mpg. Highways is probably around 10-12.

@@WilandJen we did a 10 week 8,000 mile trip and averaged 8mpg. It's a 32' class C with the new Ford 7.3 liter V8 . Thanks for sharing.

Wil, if you were born in Texas and lived here for 10 years, WHY in the H*3*double 🏒🏒 did you get Jack in the Crack and not Whataburger? Okay, so Whataburger was bought out by Yankees from Chicago, but it's still better than JITB. P.S. If you ever go back through Amarillo again, especially after Memorial Day, stay at Palo Duro Canyon. On weekends they used to have a musical dinner theater at the amphitheater.
