We Dust off Kenny’s 3rd Gen Camaro and FIX IT so he can RACE THIS WEEKEND!

Kenny has had to park the car since a few weeks after War in the Woods when it developed a BUNCH of problems. The car sat outside all summer under a car cover while he and Harlie had to move and find somewhere to call home. But now that they have found a place to live, and the kids are enrolled in school, it’s time to bring the Camaro back out and get it fixed. And that’s what we did. Although it put up a pretty good fight.

I have been known to crank my chainsaw at 2am also. My only rule for the saw is I’ve gotta be able to see and Milwaukee takes care of that and since I’m on 21 acres, I could care less what anyone within earshot thinks!!

Am just an old timer (mechanic/shop owner since the 70's) but part of my "working tools" is a bottle of windex.. when engines breakup at higher rpm or high load, I spray all the secondary wiring down with windex hunting for "tricity" leaks.. even more fun to try in the dark... there is a halo around all the wiring..

Bill, I have a 69 charger with a 383 automatic, electronic ignition and 4 barrel carb. After watching this video and challenges with Kenny's car breaking up it inspired me to check of few things on my car. It was breaking up under heavy load and when the temperatures were coming up. Checked ignition leads found 1 chafing, still did it. Checked mixture on carb, still did it. Went out this morning pulled on wires here and there and found the power wire going to the MSD coil loose. Grabbed it and it fell right out of the connector. The reason for the long explanation is if you wouldn't have given the raw footage of what you guys were chasing I wouldn't have thought to look there. Love the channel, thanks again. Larry

Boy I didn't know how much I missed the days when I lived in Michigan and used to have big bon fires and especially the s'mores ! Yeah not much sense in taking the scenic route on that wire, when it'd be much better if it went by way of the crows flight. Love the steering wheel in the Camaro, looks great. Watching this video, makes me want to look for another Camaro, as the last one I owned and loved,(yellow/ black) went to my son when he was at Camp Lejeune, N.C. while in the Marine Corps.
