One of the most untouched abandoned locations I have ever explored, there is a sad story to this but unfortunately I don’t know the whole truth.. all we know is the wife sadly passed away and the husband just couldn’t care to live here on his own anymore..

I think that when someones mobile phone has been left that is not a good sign. Something suddenly happened to someone. Looks like it was a happy home before that. Terribly sad. Massive respect & good wishes to the family.

It is so sad to see all of their belongings just sitting there, eventually rot away...what a beautiful find! I truly hope young punks don't go in there and vandalize this beauty! It is actually one of the nicest homes you've found! Wow!

I used to watch other explorers a lot but got really tired of the way they treated the homes they broke into. I haven’t watched any explorer videos in about three years and then I found you. Your respect and kindness and gentleness are just wonderful to see. Even the way you talk about your explorations is gentle. You’re awesome. I’ve been binge watching you for days now. AND SHARING,!💕

This is the saddest video I have wstched recently. Everything appears like the folks were planning on returning! How gorgeous a place with awesome furnishings. Its so painful to see the damage done by the elements and the outside so overgrown. If a house could cry...this one surely would. :( :( :( :(

I dont know about Europe. But many times here in America, someone dies without a proper will & family fights over a property. This can literally take years....10 or more. Meanwhile, without clear ownership the property can't be touched. Then, over time, it falls into such disrepair no one returns to live there. Beyond sad really. I imagine the happy life Lucy had there, back when it was a home to be proud of. ❤

Lovely house, lovely interior. Some body worked hard to make it all lovely. A couple of guest rooms ready for visitors. A car crash? A double tragedy? A heart attack? Maybe someone who could not bear to go back? I think at first someone survived. Someone arranged for some attention for the house. Freezers emptied, a bucket under a leak, windows in the sunroom boarded over. Maybe someone is somewhere in a rehabilitation/care home still or maybe someone fled to relatives unable to cope? Thankyou for showing us.

@sarahstrong7174
@sarahstrong7174 4 жыл бұрын
@@FPSPRINCESS I would guess that there is still a valid bank account paying out an arranged direct debit or that there was till recently enough that some credit had built up with the energy company. Sometimes though an energy supplier will allow a small negative balance to occur, if they know a place is empty, as they hope that any new occupant will choose to continue trading with them rather than choosing an alternative supplier.

This house overwhelmed me with emotion when I saw the beautiful upstairs bedrooms with all the old family pictures, and obvious lives of love spent there, just left to decay and ivy and mold overgrowing everything. Tears filled my eyes. I've never had a house make me feel so sad before.

This is absolutely stunning!!! Yet by far the most puzzling, not just the why when certainly some personal items have been taken but tonnes left too. The power on after about 15 years abandoned. How certain rooms are so Clean and immediately ready for use, or parts of rooms in superb condition and other rooms falling apart. Clearly once a loved happy family home, there's no evidence of age related mobility issues anywhere. Incredibly puzzling! And that upstairs viewing room was outstanding 💖💖💖💖

Speaking to one of the neighbours, wealthy businessman bought it and he moved in with his wife and daughter. They were a happy family, then tragically his wife was diagnosed with cancer, and three years after they moved in she died. The daughter got married and moved away to Birmingham with her husband. The man couldn't bear to be in the house on his own, so he locked the door and walked away from it, and moved in with his daughter. He told me it has a swimming pool. He also said that two people have shown an interest in buying the house. There is a business registered to the address, but nothing more.

Thanks for the history. I'd guessed at some sort of tragedy given the hasty departure. Strange that the power is still on. That's a fire hazard. Given the large number of photos still there, all those memories would be lost. The father needs to swallow his grief and retrieve the photos.

Do you ever try to find out the history of why the properties are left? I have a feeling the family probably died in a tragic accident and the remaining family just could not face clearing the house.... I think trying to find out the history of why the house/property was left is really important and would complete the story of your video.

This place is beautiful. The curtains and rugs plus the color of the walls is still still beautiful. How could all the photos still be there. It is still neat and not bothered by vandals. The wedding picture is amazing. The furniture is nice and beautiful. The picture of the little dog is very sad. How can this have been abandoned? It is sad damage is beginning inside the home. To think a family could live here and make it a lovely home. God bless the family. I hope there was no harm brought to them. The sun room could be lovely full of beautiful flowers. ❤️🌹❤️

Its a shame the roofs falling apart and the water getting in as its a nice house. I wonder what happened to the family that lived there. The power is still on and its been 10 years since anyone has lived there. Some one is paying for the power as the power company would have cut it off long ago. You could live there for free. No one would know and the power is paid for by a kind benefactor. LOL

I just read through all the comments and it seems a couple of people know of this beautiful house. They say that the wife died of cancer and the husband just couldn’t bear to live there anymore so he just walked out, locked the doors and never went back. I think someone said he is living with his daughter now. Some of the amenities are still working so that when the kids go back, they can still use them! I hope this helps solve the mystery a little bit! Very sad, both for the family and for that beautiful house!

While you were admiring the bike I was mesmerised by the lovely floor tiles. This house is a beauty, a great find and I am grateful you are showing it. 😊💕 I think Lucy is the daughter and she either lived there since her childhood or she visited her parents as an adult. She had her own room and ensuite cos in the upstairs bedroom with ensuite bathroom, there was a picture frame with the letter L for lucy. It was definately the bedroom of a female. I think the parents died and lucy did go back there and picked out a few bits and pieces but she left many things...she probably was filled with grief and wanted to keep her parents home as it was. May Lucy's parents rest in peace.

Lucy, poor Lucy. She couldn't bear to return home alone, but couldn't bare to sell it either! Her whole lifetime of memories are wrapped up in this lovely home. The walls are shuddering to speak the unmentionable secret. Did Lucy's husband die, or abandon her for another woman? Was it Lucy's parents home or were they house sitting for her? " Mum and Dad, Happy Anniversary, Love Lucy" 7:30 mark, and " Lucy, the swimming pool man just arrived..." 23:10, No food in the freezer and a certain amount of packing and cleaning was done. The newspaper dated 1984, the random Ketchup bottle that expired in 2009, is the odd bit, the whole rest of the house dates to the 1980's, either he misread 20/09 (20th of September) as the year, or someone came later and used the house for a bit and left the ketchup bottle behind 2 decades later. The Q-tips and shampoos etc. are all packaging from the 80's as well as the furniture, decor, computer and Television. The cellphone was also a few decades later than the newspaper. I'm guessing that the home had a visitor a few years after Lucy left. It's almost like they all went away for a trip somewhere for a couple of months, and they just never came back. This is a home that the owners meant to return to. Utilities are being automatically paid for out of a bottomless bank account apparently, but the pool man and gardener didn't have access to it. Sadly the roof is leaking and destroying it all, one lonely winter at a time. What will Lucy say when she returns? Will she ever return? What about their daughters? So sad that all of this is going to waste, when so many in the world don't have a roof over their heads or a bed to sleep in. Lovely video, it made me feel sad and nostalgic... I wish we could turn back the hands of time to happier days, for Lucy's sake.

Jungle Mom12 Ketchup bottles in the eighties were glass. That one was plastic and they didn't arrive until the nineties IIRC. The house looked very nineties to me. I had one of those Nokia mobile phones in the very late nineties. VHS tapes were still in wide use in the late nineties, too. DVDs didn't really become ubiquitous until the early to mid 2000s.

Also look at the movie titles. There are some that I would say are def late 90s even 2000. I feel so sad for this family that it seems like there was no time to take their photos with them. Perhaps a friend cleared out their fridges knowing it might be some time before they returned and left everything else as is.

Amazing adventure guys, probably why it’s virtually untouched is because of its location in the middle of nowhere it does look as though it’s been partially emptied with no TVs and fridge and freezes empty but still some nice antique furniture left behind, thank you guys good explore.

This is amazing and also very sad. I wonder what happened to Lucy. The weather conditions must be perfect for a house to be reclaimed by nature so quickly. I think the way you are careful and put everything back as it was is so respectful - I would do the same. Other folks stuff personal items are not playthings. Even if it seems they are unlikely to be alive any more.

I always wonder if any family members ever see any of these abandoned home videos and recognize their home . Have you ever had someone contact you and tell you that the home you explored was their home? I love these videos although they do make me so sad as others have mentioned just knowing that at one time the home probably was a happy home full of life and laughter (we can only hope!) . And, I am sure if someone did contact you they would express their gratefulness that you are respectful of their home. Maybe they could even shed some light on what happened and why the home is still abandoned. Anyway . thank you ! I would never have the courage to go into these homes so I get to see them vicariously through you ! and your team ! :-)

This was a very beautiful home. They obviously were affluent, as the house is big, and worth a lot of money,(if it was in pristine condition). It’s a shame all that wonderful furniture will be destroyed by the mould. I think this was there primary residence, but where they all went who knows??? What a mystery!! Thank you

Really enjoy watching your abandoned buildings, also like the way you treat the rooms and virtually leave them as you find them. Makes you think why people just leave everything for nature to take over 👍

Wow, obviously it was Lucy's parents house, but why leave it to rot. All those precious photos and belongings left. Why not sell then someone else would of loved it like her parents.., so sad. Thank you for the great explore... Loved the intro. So apt for a beautiful home. 🥰
