Y’all need to go watch TPV Production channel here on KZbin. He did a comparison on a black S10 sbc400 with the same style header’s you have. 3 styles,open header’s with tear drops like yours,side mount exhaust and full exhaust. He ended up with the full exhaust to get the sound behind the cab of the truck. This way no fumes,no crying and you can hear yourself think. You can even play the radio,lol.

So it actually has a sbc 400 in it? My dad had a '70 Nova that was a sbc 400 with a Corvette 4-speed and a positive traction rear-end from the same Corvette. It was one bad ass bowtie, for real. I'd love to still have it. I also knew a coke dealer while I was in highschool, he built an '83 S10 with a 4 bolt main, a 6-speed, and a bunch of other things in It. Even had a snyper system for nitrous. It was deadly 😅, especially while road was damp

To be honest id ditch the fenderwell headers go with regular long tubes build a different crossmember to be able to tuck the pipes up under the truck

Buy a cross member and route the exhaust on the inside of the frame. Never was a fan of the Vette side pipes. I can tell Chris ain't happy about them. You guys are hilarious, it's like watching Beavis and Butthead working on cars 😂😂😂 Thanks for another great video 👍
