hey guys i had same trouble with slinging belts on my sbc elcamino, i put on the moroso under drive pulley to so down the alternator and never had any problems since part # moroso 64870 5 inch pully all the high revin engines use them to keep belts on, your welcome 👍

Yes you can weld moly to steel .. install another cross member, for the anti roll and bolt the bushing cups to that .. also keep in mind you will have a slight arc in the travel .. pay attention to how close it is to the bed , so the arms do not hit it on compression

Get u some flat washers an put between the head an alt.bracket on the bolts an move the whole bracket out a little to where its straight what I did on mine works fine

Still trying to figure out WHY you need to cover or plug unused oil/trans cooler ports on the radiator at all? Just leave them alone with a plug, any lowes, HD,Ace, or Amazon has the plugs lol. Those go to the internal cooler that has nothing to do with the engine coolsnt. There's zero pressure, and unused-zero fluid?? What the HELLL am I missing here! Lol done gone back and watched 26 other videos trying to figure out why the he's trying to keep the air from leaking out and NOTHINNNN lol😅😅

Ernest ordered a guitar tuner and from the size the shipping box was you would think it was gigantic. The tuner came in a box that was smaller than a deck of cards. About 2 1/2" wide 4" tall and about an inch thick. The box it came in was 10 1/2" long, 5 1/2" deep by 8" wide. Who packs these things?!? LOL

I have a roller motor in my s10 and it's a little noisy also, you guys are almost there.

They package everything like a bag of chips,great big bags and nothing inside 😂😂😂. Truck is definitely coming along. Stay cool this weekend it going to be a scorcher 😮‍💨

It may not have enough initial timing to burn off the extra fuel at idle with that cam and that much overlap. Sounds good though.

By the time i finished my last rendition of headers->duals to four into 1 i was so over it i was EXACTLY where yall are at here, didnt realize about 4" of the quad section ended up being mild steel instead of the stainless i HAD. immediate rust on 4" on 4 sections of pipe...theyre still just there.. when the motor goes, ill do something else lol.

Wow, my 83 GMC rear axle set up is different from yours… I don’t have the bushings that you sawed off. I’m also in the process of dropping my rear end. And my axle U bracket don’t have the C notch in it, it’s just a U shape with out the curve

The trans dip stick is out of an 1989 Chevy 350 motor I got the same one

My 5.3 rockers sound just as bad but I had a sbf sound like that and it was piston slap

Now those pipes make the engine sound more aggressive. You know, you can add way more timing since you have some back pressure and gain some of that low end power that was missing. Y’all some rockstar’s!!!

Pipes sounded good! Keep running it...if it gets unhappy it will give itself a break! then just build a bigger one!😆😆😆

Glad to see you guys are back from vacation. Truck definitely sounds better with those pipes. As for the noise I would check the flywheel bolts see if they're tight. Hope you guys find the noise and it's nothing major 💯👍🔧🔧
