CIENNA and Lashaun met on TikTok, where they were both sharing their transgender journeys. It took a few attempts from Lashaun until he finally got Cienna's attention. She explained to Love Don't Judge: "Lashaun was commenting, commenting, commenting and I wasn't really paying any mind, but then the comments were like, 'Girl, go look at his page, go look at his page', and I was like, 'Oh, here he is,' and I saw this handsome gentleman here." The pair are very open about their transitions and sadly, some people dish out mean comments on their content. Cienna said: "We get a lot of judgement on social media and trolls a lot of the time just say that we're confused about gender." Agreeing, Lashaun added: "It really gets dark on TikTok. They'll use the Bible, they'll say, 'What are you going to do when God comes and it's time for you to go to heaven?'" Despite the judgement, the couple refuse to let the hate get them down. Cienna concluded: "To the people who judge our relationship, I would say mind your business. Good thing it has nothing to do with you. Worry about you and not about us. We're happy."

That's sad to hear about her dad. You're not protecting her by not being there, and pulling away doesn't change the statistics. I understand the fear, but that's exactly why he needs to be close to her and let her feel his love. She's personally dealing with those fears cuz unfortunately she is the statistic, and it would make it easier on her to know her father is behind her fully. This is the equivalent to what you're saying; if it seems a bit silly, that's because it is. "Cis" is simply a way to categorize when needed. For example, "hetero" means different, and "homo" means the same. "Heterosexual" means attracted to a different sex, while "homosexual" means attracted to the same sex. Similarly, "cis" means on the same side of, while "trans" means changing. "Cisgender" means gender is the same as their sex, whereas "transgender" means changing their sex to match their gender. We could say "homogender" (same gender as sex), but that would get confusing, and the point is clarity.

I think it's funny that this happened. It's as though this was meant to be. I have to say though that I don't like Cienna with the blond hair. Brown or black look more natural and to be honest, apart from that, if I saw this couple down the street, it wouldn't even occur to me that they're trans. I think you should live your lives how you like. You've found love and that is excellent. One thing that was really really annoying is when you said something like if you've not got body dysphoria, you wont know what being transgender feels like, which is true. I would like you to also understand, is you will never understand what being a woman is like. Yes your partner does to an extent but him also having body dysphoria negates it. I hope you dont take offence at this. Im merely showing life isnt all about being a trans and isnt always looking at you being the victim. We all find life hard and challenging.
