You are right: The 13900 KS is known for getting way too hot. I just read a test from ComputerBase, a German tech site. Theirs reached 101°C during testing using an AiO, Intel's product page lists up to 100°. And what a journey. I am partly said that this series comes to an end, but also happy that you have time for other projects now. Great job! And I've been working in the IT sector for about 20 years, but played mainly with servers.
@JoeWayne846 ай бұрын
Yeah the 13900k gets warm if you are doing artificial multicore benchmarks but gaming it’s not bad… a good 240 aio will easily get you buy . People really over exaggerate the power useage of Intels newest CPUs they are higher than AMD but they are also monolithic and able to be cranked to the max if that’s what you choose to do. Or you can undervolt it and have great performance and 90-95% of the performance … Both options are great nowdays finally but I’d still take the Intel myself and I’ve had ryzens also.

Checked our local Dutch market. 3000 aus = €1900 euro. Cheapest 4090 is €1400. Cheapest 13900 is €500. Which adds up to €1900. So you basically bought the Case, Cooler, SSD, RAM, PSU and motherboard for almost €0 = an amazing deal 👍.

I agree with that last section of the video. Nowadays it's kinda rare for PC flippers to give an extended warranty/guarantee on the systems. I've been learning and improving my services and I also give a year guarantee to everyone that buys from me. Sometimes some of our local stores don't even offer warranty on their new hardware, or they just redirect the cause of the problem towards the buyer (had quite a few people come to me, seeking help because the company wouldn't fix their stuff within the warranty period). My favorite episode was the 1st one from this flip up series. I always love seeing the beginnings of new series, kinda sets the phase for the upcoming episodes.

Also a bit unrelated, have you ever had bad experiences due to the warranty you offer? Like, people coming to you for software issues thinking it's the hardware's fault, peoppe installing new GPUs with weak PSU, people breaking stuff while cleaning/upgtading etc

Hi Bryan, Loving the content as usual! Not sure if this is the right place to ask it, but I have a question: Quite regularly you apply an undervolt to a GPU using MSI Afterburner to make it more efficient / bring the temps down before then selling on that system. How do you do this without creating a user account on the Windows install? Don't the undervolt settings only apply for the user account that's currently logged in? Or is there a way to apply it for all users using the administrator account so that a buyer can have that fresh 'out-of-the-box' experience with the undervolt already applied? Cheers, Andy

Let me give you a tip for cleaning your computers. Get a small air compressor at least 25 liter and a blow gun with a cheap inline water filter so you dont hose your pc with water and you can clean a pc in about 30 seconds. You will be amazed how fast you can clean a pc with good air pressure. You also need to make sure that you drain the water out of the compressor every week or so. That little duster thing that you use does nothing compared to a compressor. You can get a small compressor for like 100 bucks
