It’s actually healthier if you feed your dog more home made food like chicken, lamb, fish, rice some veggies with a supplement. Most dog foods have nasty fillers and bad meat product that over time makes them sick. I have four dogs and my oldest he’s 16 years old and blind. Definitely look into the dog food brand you are giving her. She’s adorable ✨💖

As long as the first 3 ingredients are protein it's usually fine. With no corn and gluten free usually best as most dogs have a hard time. Merrick is a really good brand

What kind of fish do you give your dogs and how do you make it? I sometimes make dog treats, but found it much more simple to give them apples (they get jealous when I feed my neighbor's cows apples and want to eat them as well) :-)

Ela Abejo She talked about plain chicken not about seasoned chicken in sauce. My boyfriends family makes fresh meat for their dog too and she is probably healthier than most dogs who eat premade dog food

Although I agree that feeding a homemade diet can have great benefits, it is very important to assure your dog is getting the right balance of everything nutritionally needed for them, which can unfortunately lack in some home made diets (without proper research done). Defeinitely do research before heading that route, and quality bagged dog food is also completely healthy for dogs. No shame either way. Special treats of plain, low-fat-content meat is a perfect treat. As well as carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin, etc. Just do research! 🖤

Hey Sierra I just wanted to tell you this since it happen to me, I though that pet food was good for my dog but when my dog was around 7 she started to develop cancer in her stomach due to the dog food. So if you want to take care of penny just don’t give her the expensive pet food since it’s full of chemicals and it’s bad for them. After we realized she had it she lived for a year and passed away sadly. I hope you read this and get informed. Something you can give them is rice and mix it with some meat, it’s good for them, you can also Get her used to eating carrots❤️ ask your vet for other food to give her. Love u guys so much, I hope you see this ❤️❤️❤️

Chicken is actually GREAT for dogs! Don’t be worried at all if she eats it (in fact you should feed her some)! Obviously just feed her small portions because she’s a small dog. I’m glad you’re actually concerned about what your dog eats though! So many people don’t think twice about giving their dogs a croissant. 😅😅
