Thanks for the video. Remember Mercedes AMG had defined tolerances for maximum skim depth on the cylinder heads? Remember you chose to ignore this and put the engine back together with cylinder heads which are now well out of the allowed factory and maintenance tolerance envelope? Now the engine management is complaining of implausible values on the cam and crank sync…..

In that case can you tell me what is the maximum skim depth for Mercedes tolerances? Also if you’re so right can you explain why only 1 bank out of 2 is complaining since both banks has their heads skimmed to exactly the same amount? Maybe you didn’t read the fault codes properly, il make it easy for you; only on bank 2 (passengers side) is it saying implausible signal from camshafts, timing issue? Camshaft or sensor? Yes be one of these mate nothing to do with head skimming….
