Welcome back to Shedtour! This week, the guys head deep into the back country with enough food to last them three days on their back. They head into a zone where they glassed up 10 bull elk that have already shed their antlers. They spend the next few days grid, searching the area hoping to find fresh brown elk antlers. It's not so much the squirrels here in central washington. It's the chipmunks aka timber tigers and the damn porcupines! I've found fresh elk sheds that have every dagom point chewed to schite!

I think the only deer species that hold antlers for another year is a spike bull? I’m not sure though we have a spike here in western Montana still running around with his while other bulls have already sprouted like trees lol

@@Trevor-wm9su that's what i was curious about, was driving through wyoming about a week and a half ago and decided to go take a look at some BLM land and saw a big muley buck that already had some nubs sticking out of his head. The bucks around where i live in CA already have their eyeguards formed and are starting to split.
