@@Katiesfloridalife . I'm sure you are right about it being easier having already lived abroad. We've been here 2 years this month. We are going home for good next month after our Disney trip. We had to complete our eldest daughter's senior year . Our 12 year old should slot back in quite easily.

Yay. You made it home. Lovely seeing all the greenery out of the train windows. I have lived away from home (Scotland) for almost 30 years and it always makes we emotional when the plane touches down…. and when I get my first cup of tea 😄. When we first moved here ready made curtains (drapes) were not available. I finally found a small selection at JCPenney. Everything was made to measure and of course $$$$$. I would say 3-6 weeks is more reasonable for made to measure blinds but really since Covid things just take longer. I have friends who get their contacts from Costco. I get spare pairs of glasses from Costco - take in my prescription and they are ready in a week. Have a wonderful time in England.

I’ve always appreciated the greenery in England since living in Qatar as the place is so dead and beige 🤦🏼‍♀️ Yes I think 3-6 weeks is a more reasonable time frame too, but never mind they’re done now!! I haven’t been in a Costco yet so I’ll maybe check out when I get back, it’s my own fault for leaving it late all the time 😂 thanks for watching xx

Thanks for watching again. Yes we’ve always kept it as a holiday home but I think it’s time we just rent it out as we won’t come home as much now we live in Florida. I’m glad you agree it was a long wait for blinds and it’s not just me being unreasonable 😂 xx

Aww. My nephew and I were at Epcot on the 10th as well. We had a long wait for our Guardians ride. We are back in the UK now. Miss Orlando so much. We have been going to Orlando since the 90's as we have family there. Would love to move, but I know it's not easy. For now, I have to be content with once or twice a year visit lol. Oh I really miss the shopping over there, love Target and B&BW., bought some hand wash in Next a couple of weeks ago, almost £10 ! The blinds look great and I love your Friends tee shirt.

Having lived here almost 20 years, 9 weeks is too long to wait for blinds. I would have been annoyed with that too. lol. I’ve definitely adapted to the American way of not wanting to wait and making it known when I don’t like something (or maybe that’s a getting older thing?)
