Yeah, the "The Incident" refers to the Battle of New York depicted in The Avengers (2012) around three years prior, when the Chitauri invaded Manhattan near Stark Tower. These shows do exist within the MCU, but for legal reasons, they’re less explicit about it-like not name-dropping the Avengers or giving events like the Battle of New York a different name. Avengers Tower never appears in the New York skyline, even though it should. So, the show exists in what you might call a "Side-MCU," its own little pocket of events. Daredevil will return in Daredevil: Born Again, a soft reboot that keeps the canon from the Netflix shows. This new series will likely have much stronger connections to the MCU, as they're now free to reference anything without worrying about legal limitations. But when watching the Netflix shows keep in mind that they do take place within the MCU.

Huh? It's easily the most popular Marvel show, on top of that, this show put Netflix original content on the map. I think it got all the attention it deserved... so much so that the cast (&crew) were brought back to continue the show, not to mention Matt Murdock showing up in No Way Home. Rumor is he was apparently going to be in Spider-Man 4 but the script has changed from a street level story to a multiverse one with Venom.

​​​@@robertjackson9005all you did was change Punisher season 1 to a different time, it happens after Spider-Man Homecoming About a Year after His Daredevil Season 2 appearance and before Jessica jones season 2, Now Ant-Man and The Wasp takes places at the same time as Jessica Jones Season 3 and The Punisher season 2 or atleast near the beginning but the Punisher ends first and Jessica Jones Shortly after, but both take place right before Infinity War, during and after Ant-Man 2 and Thor Ragnarok right before Infinity War

Also Daredevil s3lso should end right before Thor Ragnarok, but due to time working differently, it brings the end of that movie in between The Punisher and or Jessica Jones, especially with the post credits, so I'd say it's best to just watch it when it begins, which is in October 2017, After Daredevil and before the Punisher

This and Jessica Jones are the 2 best of the Netflix shows, Luke Cage starts hella strong but once a certain someone leaves it then it kinda lost the oomph of a real good villain if you ask me. They had real gravitas whereas the final episodes big bad was like eh if you ask me.

No you don't necessarily have to watch or react to it but before you watch season 3 you need to know at least the recap of the short series The Defenders first after season 2 of daredevil, and you can kinda do the same thing for the other Netflix marvel shows if you want to of course.

Daredevil, X-Men '97, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Loki, and Legion to name a few are some of my favourite Marvel shows across animation and live action. Special shootout to Cloak and Dagger (2018) and one of my personal favourite Runaways (2018) two Marvel shows I never hear people talk about. But Nico Minoru played by Lyrica Okano is amazing and so glad she returned to voice the character in the Midnight Suns game. These two released during that awkward Marvel TV stage that gave us some amazing underrated shows like Legion but some awful series like Inhumans. During the height of the MCU with Infinity War and Endgame releasing alot of these series were simply forgotten about once Marvel moved into making their own shows under Marvel Studios. Daredevil and its series of connected shows like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage etc. These remained the face of Marvel TV during this time along with Agents of Shield while everything else was or less pushed to the side.

Daredevil is my favorite superhero. I’m really looking forward to taking this journey with you with this amazing show as all the seasons are great. I loved it when watched them as Charlie Cox did an amazing job as Matt Murdock aka “Daredevil”. Season 1 is good as it gives us a solid base of what’s to come as we go on with the show. We get introduced to Karen but we’ll learn more about her life as the show goes on, get introduced to Foggy Nelson who’s Matt’s best friend and we get introduced to Matt Murdock aka “Daredevil” and his story as a kid but we’ll learn more about him and his origin story as to why he became Daredevil. One cool thing that gets kind of lost with your first view being so far past the release of the show: Karen mentions a West Side Reconstruction Project that she learned was being used as a cover for illegal activity. That reconstruction project is a citywide project to rebuild after the damage done to NYC after Avengers 1.

Also the hallway fight scene was filmed in all one single take and is a direct callback to a movie called Oldboy. Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen did a remake of the original movie and it wasn't horrible.

People need to lose the fantasy that people don't break under torture. Matt was digging around in the same nerve cluster Claire showed him in the previous episode, so he broke under torture (like everyone does in real life). After the pain stopped realization set in. So he did what he had to do to protect his family in his mind.

Like Matt enjoys protecting his city and trying to make a positive difference though if often costs him a lot what the show doesn't go into as much he's devoutly Catholic so there's a religious element behind a lot of it to. The actual hurting people is more of a cost . He's just really good at it.

Daredevil is one of my favorite heroes. Apparently the actor who played daredevil in this show accidentally screwed himself out of another cushy Disney role because he got so good at acting like he was blind that he went to an audition and didn't look at anyone there.
