When I was 17 I knew a fellow in the next garage that had a kitten as a full on dragster. He did have a little help from a sponsor. Oil company if you put a bird that likes water, and what you get from pigs you should no who. My boss and his boss raced stock cars back then in England. I must google it and see if there’s any information about it. It’s a long time ago now. Take one bite at a time and finish that before moving on to the next. Cheers.

hay pudding , from the middle of Michigan ,If you put bearings behind the hub caps, like modern day mods, and put a weight on the inside bottom of the hub cap ,so it dont turn with the tire, and the v8 hub cap would stay strait . but as the meds started to wear off I realized ,that it might through the balance off slightly , but when the top speed of that bucket , was only 35mph bitd that shouldnt be a problem . just kidding pudding ,sweeten the ride , sweeten it .

Looks like an awesome one to start with, thats a fact. Thats the only way to build them in my book. If i didn't have so many that I'm working on currently, i would take it off your hands. It would be just like you had it in the shop or the lot covered up waiting for that one day when we say it's time to build it. An unfortunately that day never comes for alot of people. I just want to have an build so many but these days parts an more parts are getting harder to come by. An not to mention $$$ exspensive. Hope someone takes it off your hands an puts it on the road soon. We need more of them out there on the back roads. Great video, An alot of great work by an old hot rodder who has been around a bit i can see. An has learned a few old tricks of the trade. Not many around anymore to teach those old tricks of hot rod building. An they'll sure save an old hot rodder lots of time an money. 😁👍👍

Paint it. I can't imagine why people started thinking patena was cool. I can see it if the car is still in fairly good condition. I have an F-150. I bought it new in 1989. I have taken really good care of it all those years. It still has the original paint. It has a slight petena. But people are always telling me what a nice ride I have and they always ask if it's the original paint.

I just ran across your channel today and when you mentioned several car builders and cars that I knew from "back in the day", I was hooked. I watched all the content and learned a few things. Like installing a early Ford windshield glass and how the cowl and radiator shell welting is installed. No one is showing that kind of stuff. I'm laid up after a hernia operation this week so not much I can do to my 32 3 window right now. this car was a hot rod in Memphis, TN back in the 50s and 60s. Featured in Rod and Custom June 54 (if it remember right). If you have that issue, the article is titled something like "A pair of Tennessee Deuces" and also features a sister car (a roadster that is still around too) to mine. Maybe you've heard of the Memphis Rodders, (or not...) this car was owned by one of the original members. A lot of history with the Rodders. National wins, records set, firsts, etc. I bought it in 1979 (I was 20). But between work, no money, no time, family, other health matters it has been a stop and go project all these years. I retired 3 years ago and have been at it everyday since. Making many of my own parts (machinist), doing all the work alone. There are pics of recent progress on my Facebook page. If you're ever out Memphis way (Millington) gimme a holler. Keep the content coming.
