But I never passed up an interesting piece of glass or inscription on a side panel of bottle to look up. Thanks Kindly Si Finds for the adventure and your creative efforts to preserve and make beautiful our heritage. Oh yes, and that crude piece the boys found, I thought it looked like a crucible for melting metal but a sugar mold is a good guess as well. The closest thing I've come to mudlarking over here in the U.S. was when my grandpa in New York let us metal detect his yard and dig it up. I found 2 bottle necks that had O.K. embossed on them, a metal bottle cap from an old Italia bottle, and many pieces of a 1955-1959 Clorox Bleach jug, including parts of the embossing and half of the bottle neck with the handle still intact. My mom was laughing at how excited I was to dig in a hole littered with broken glass. Can't wait to maybe do it next year when we go back out to visit him.

Hi Blakeley, I don't know if you researched the OK bottle necks but HP sauce is a well known brand in the UK. Could be from the OK corral ? Oops, getting carried away now.
@blakeleystormfeather69624 жыл бұрын
@@michaeldicker4839 I tried to research the bottle necks multiple times now and have come up with nothing. The OK embossed on the bottle is pretty much cursive, but searching around that theme has lead me nowhere. I did happen to find a picture of some bottles that had it on the bottom, which claimed they were a specific brand of club soda bottle (which I don't doubt. I figured they were either soda or sparkling water bottles) but when I went to research the name brand I got, something totally different came up. So I've tried to research them, I just keep ending up in the same place I start. I don't think it was very popular since I couldn't find anything on them, but then again, what are the chances I find the necks of two of them right next to each other? One is green and one is clear, so I have absolutely no clue what they are. 🤷♀️
