Really neat metal fabrication Derek, it blends in with the rest of the floor. Sorry to hear you have been unwell, that said it sounds like you both had an enjoyable break in Scotland. Best wishes for a quick recovery, take care both and as always,look forward to the next video 👍🇬🇧.

@@timferriss905 yes we had a great time in Scotland. It was a short 7 days but it only rained twice and was sunny most of the time. I think we were quite fortunate!

My sister and her husband go up every year around this time of year. She has lassie collies. I remember her when she was a little girl crying her eyes out at the films. Especially lassie come home. And her daughter Julie and husband go up every year for Hogmanay!!

Superb floor work. My preference for floor panels will be to make them all removable. ( I am ready to do them now. Old panels bad). Will use Nut-Serts for simple in and out maintenance. Your finish workmanship is excellent!
@coldstreamrodshopАй бұрын
You can certainly make all the panels removable. Nutserts, welded inserts, and even self tapping screws would work. Thanks for watching!

Where is the throttle pedal going?
@coldstreamrodshop3 ай бұрын
On the right of the brake pedal, the pivot will be mounted up on the firewall.

Nice work sir! Question, whats your plan for a gas pedal? Looks tight… thanks! Great video!
@coldstreamrodshop2 ай бұрын
@@michaelsweet8327 it will be to the right of the brake pedal mounted on the firewall. I usually use a Lokar type gas pedal.
@michaelsweet83272 ай бұрын
@@coldstreamrodshop aha, going to check out the lokar pedal, as my floorboard and brake pedal and master cyl location are very close to your design. Thanks for that info, hopefully save me some time too! Great looking rod! Going to subscibe to follow along!

Nice work. So on this particular build, if the body needs to be removed, the firewall has to come off too, correct? I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep my firewall separate from my body and the floor I am building in my 32 roadster w/ Brookville body. Thanks for any insight..
@coldstreamrodshop29 күн бұрын
Yes in this case the firewall is now part of the body like model As and after 32. It really stiffens up the cowl. I didn't do this on my 32 pickup, I wish I had. I got the idea from Jerry Kugel at Kugel Components in California.

Do you have any of the T Shirts with the 1932 Ford pickup on them if so when I get back from Seattle Medical Center for back surgery, in 2 weeks I will take 2 - 3X
@coldstreamrodshop3 ай бұрын
Hi Mark, we only have T shirts with the model A sedan on them now. Once we get through these we'll look at getting one with the pickup on it.
