At 4:13 it can be seen that P0036 fault code is removed from the map file by how the file is named, this code is relating to the H02S and can indicate the secondary O2 sensor not working, this may be the reason you guys are having issues as it's not good practice to disable O2 sensors, need to properly look into the map as this is not safe and will not last long.

Is your charge cooler still running together with the stock cooling system? Running it on its own system with separate radiator and coolant tank will see a big improvement in charge temps. Friend of mine did this successfully on his 1.2 TSI with bigger turbo.

@@Em_Ligman makes a massive difference! We average about 36 to 40C most part of the year by us and that mod made a big impact. They tried Watermeth at first with stock charge cooler setup but made no difference as the hot charge cooler just dissipated the watermeth. Sold the water meth and just fitted an extra small radiator with separate Aluminum water tank and pump and it made a huge difference.

Is this the version with 150bhp?. And mines got COD “cylinder on demand” or cylinder deactivation. Was wondering if that can be removed with a remap. With an exhaust on sounds like its miss firing driving at low speeds cos its only using 2 cylinders 😂

The COD system confuses so many people 😂 my dad's Q3 has it with the same 150hp engine you do and when my cousin first got in it and we were driving around town under 30mph and he was like wtf I can't hear the engine at all. It was so quiet on 2 cylinders that he said he would've thought it was electric if he didn't know it was a 1.4T😂😂

Don't go any higher than 400hp without changing the big end and main bearings for something a bit stronger. You'll spin the stock ones.

Do these new denso spark plugs work better than the NGKs? Whenever I tried installing the NGK 93231 I was getting engine misfires that it didn’t have before (got exact same car as you), so hoping these densos might be the solution

Go to someone who can map it properly and have a dyno as tool to help builing a proper and custom map for your car. Cant remember how many maps the ecu already had and u still hunting problems left and right. Just it get it properly done by a tuner who know about their stuff

Ive started my journey tuning a 1.4tsi audi a1 2016 upgraded to the turbo from the 150 engine mst intake panel filter. Decat 2.5 inch gravity performance too cobra sport exhast ngk plugs running 1.3 bar. 99 octane only visual modification ive done is a spoiler from a mk7.5 golf i got for 20 quid on market place 😆 from a slow 123bhp all the way to making 215hp on the dyno surprised myself how you could do that on na budget to a modern car ❤❤ ea211❤❤ underestimated engine. nice build btw would love to see it irl at a meet.

Youd have better control of the car when you put your foot down if you didnt have your seat set up as a recliner, ideal position would be more upright with elbows tucked into chest and hands sat between 10&2 and 9&3 on the steering wheel. IF you were to lose control with your arms stretched out like that youd have no chance of recovering the car safely. Cool to see someone doing something different, it gets boring seeing the same cars tuned over and over and over and over again 🙂
