If you move the body mount pieces of the rotisserie to the lowest hole, it will make the center of gravity of the car closer to the rotation axis and make it much less effort to turn

Check the torsion bar mounts on the K frame and on the body for cracked mount welds .Because the welds are known to crack on them.

That little scrap of metal that you removed from under the data plate is the remains of a long inspection tag. The factory inspectors snipped pieces off of the tag to show that they completed their inspections as the car went down the line.

I just love these videos , keep up with the good work.. Since I was young, like a kid really I have a fascination for knives, good quality useful knives for outdoors fishing camping etc, and all who know me know this too. Though the only knife one can have as an everyday carry (to use your U.S vernacular)is a non locking blade of maximum 3 inches. I do of course have lots for use on non public land or places, anyhow my sister in law and then later my son went to the U.S and kindly brought me back knives one was a Buck the same as Hillbilly has there with a very small "skinning knife and my son brought me back a "commando" type knife, but oh dear,, both made in China!

Robby, Bar Keepers Friend is a great abrasive compound and the grit is so "mild" you can clean polished aluminum without hurting the appearance. It has the potential to make that build tag look brand new.

It looks like you've got to adjust your rotisserie arms up so the pivot is closer to the center mass - even if you have to flip that set of arms. Right not it's just the roof trying to balance the rest of the body. Getting closer to balanced will make life much easier (and safer). Great project and thanks for sharing!

That opener on the rotisserie and Hillbilly taking a ride. Yup. Been there as a Ford 351w long block took me for a ride on an engine stand years ago. Don't ask about my landing on the oxy-acetylene tanks. This whole place is the kind of extended family that would be a dream to spend the day "working" with. Seems like the kind of place I'd work my hardest for as well. Extra fist bump to Hillbilly here, simply because he's a great guy and always makes for some great content on here. Thinking back to 25 years ago, I'd spend hours at "work" unpaid doing things with my coworkers and superiors. This just brings me back to those times. I wasn't being used as free labor or anything, we were bonding and having fun over something we all enjoyed (games).

I am not trying to be a jerk and I do appreciate your body shop videos, recoveries and demolition derby as well as FAMILY. If I had one wish for you folks it would be that you don't branch out into too much. Chip Foose is a great designer and car builder but the cars his show built in a week pale in comparison to what you did on Ed's jeep and Aiden's pickup. Truth be told, what you call "perfectionism" is exactly what many of us look for especially on autos. This charger will be Beautiful and better built then any others "showcased" on TV shows. More of your shop work and getting car repair or restorations would be greatly appreciated as well as maybe some follow up a year after the build. I do not believe you will find many "overhaulin" cars still on the road or in the owners possession. I know restoring any car isn't cheap or easy. Ed, Matt and Aiden are eternally grateful as are those of us that watched all of your hard work. The recipient of this Charger will be also, knowing the time spent with quality materials will out last most modern autos. We lost comedians Ralphie May and John Pinette too early due to weight, PLEASE pass on my prayers and encouragement to Dinner. I'll love seeing the joyful young Man lighter and healthier for many years to come. My Lady wanted the trailer we pull behind her motorcycle to be painted to match. I didn't do anywhere near as good as you but she's really happy with the matching helmets also. If an old biker can appreciate that, imagine how I and others feel when we see what you folks do with the vehicles in your shop. I appreciate your hard work and outstanding results. You all are in my prayers Hoka Hey
