When you were going in to the mangrove I was thinking, "boy I hope they remember how to get out". The spectacular. That is what we do with Cache Canada. We find geocaches, look up geocaching if you don't know what it is, we find geocaches that are wow. Not the most amazing but ones that will entertain you, tickle your funny bone, make you say, "Wow", mush like your little surprise places you find. That sea cow was amazing. And kicking back, perfect.

As a truck driver i may recommend some anti algae suppliment to your tank. Believe it or not some biodiesel allows for it to grow in your tank.

That gunk in your primer bulb is algae that grows in diesel fuel in warm climates. There are several products made that, added to your fuel, will prevent this. Any fuel dock in the tropics will know about this, and be able to obtain one of these products. Also, the use of a "Mr Funnel" fuel filtering funnel(get it from Amazon, also stocked by many of the chain auto parts stores) will help prevent the fuel you take aboard from contaminating your tank. You should have 2 fuel filters, and a Racor-style water separator between the tank and first fuel filter. The primer bulb really isn't necessary, but will help with priming the system, after changing filters, or running out of fuel. You would be stunned by the gunk that ends up in your tank. As you get farther out, fuel cleanliness becomes more important. Having an engine that won't start, or won't run on command can be a crisis.
