Every time I hear about endangered species, I automatically go to humans. And I've never understood that humans can't seem to grasp the difference between want...and need. In this case, we need the hummingbirds. Do we really need what they're tearing all this up for? Or that much of it? I'm sorry to go on like that. It just bothers me a lot. On a happier note, your photo captures are wonderful as always Carole❤ Oh, and little Sombre? Shined like a diamond too!🩷 We love everything that you do Carole❤

Maybe they bring some to the Us Mexico to save them from extinction

Nice thought, but many species don't adapt well to entirely new environments, and it would upset the balance of the hummingbird habitats native to Mexico. There is plenty of places in Brazil where these birds can find new homes for themselves, but right not they seem to be staying where they are.
