Carole... We have this going on here at our house, from the courtyard feeder, with all the bats we have here! However, we love the bats because they eat the mosquitos at night here! HA!

Hummingbirds are so pretty. I am unaware of any conservation project ever succeeding at long-term maintaining a captive breeding population of any hummingbird species. So sufficient habitat for all their species is, for now, the only way to preserve them.

Fantastic. I wish 10% as many were around my feeders during the Summer up here. And thank you for NOT putting any dyes in the water. The red / orange of the feeder is enough to lure them.
